GET THAT PREMIER ACCESS! 🎟️✨ We bought Premier Access for our first-ever Disneyland trip, and it was SO WORTH IT! 😭❤️ If you’re someone who hates long queues and doesn’t want to spend hours waiting for rides or securing a good spot for the shows, JUST GET IT! Out of 8 attractions, we only managed to ride 7 🤣 We were too relaxed, thinking we had plenty of time to do everything. Instead, we got busy collecting Disney passport stamps, taking tons of pictures, and exploring the park. 😂 We did have one unpleasant experience, though. One of the staff members, Samson, denied us entry to the designated viewing area for the castle stage show, even though we had Premier Access. 😭 Thankfully, we asked another staff member, and she helped us get into the correct viewing area! AND MOMENTOUS!!! 😭✨ After watching Let’s Get Wicked at 6:30 PM, we literally RAN to squeeze in the Ant-Man and Iron Man rides before heading to our designated viewing area for Momentous! And OMG, IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!!! 😭😭❤️

one of the best activity you can do when in Hongkong! Standard cable cabin is good also, there’ll be 8 pax in each cabin, just tell the staff if you are in group, you tell them how many of you and they assigned your groups in one cabin(ours is 6, then 2 more person will filling up the remaining seats). Bought roundtrip tickets because we want to go to the citygate outlet. And photographer will capture your photos and you have to buy the physical photos first if you want the softcopy. We didnt buy it cus it’s costly for us. And there’s twist!! on our way back to tung chung, in the middle of air and down there was entirely OCEAN, the cable car stops for less than a minute??? Luckily we didnt panic! They gave announcements that there’s some issue and they’re going to fixes it (something like that).

We had a great experience on the Peak Tram! Entry was quick and easy for both the tram and the observation decks. Sky Terrace 428 is definitely worth visiting, offering stunning, unobstructed views of Hong Kong’s skyline. A must-do attraction when visiting Hong Kong!

When we visited, Ocean Park had a Sanrio crossover event, so there were many Sanrio character decorations and even a Sanrio character exhibition, which was very novel. Ocean Park's animal conservation is excellent; there are many different animals like dolphins, otters, meerkats, pandas, and more. All of them are very energetic and lively. The dolphins even jump out of the water to play on their own, showing they are very well cared for. The staff were also very enthusiastic in sharing information about the animals with us! Afterwards, we had lunch at the Arctic Blast Restaurant, eating while watching the penguins, which was delightful! Perhaps the younger generation isn't as keen on thrill rides, as there weren't many people queuing for Ocean Park's rides. The longest wait was half an hour, and for some, there was no wait at all. However, the staff checked everything very thoroughly, making it feel very safe. I truly feel that Ocean Park represents Hong Kong's theme parks well; the shopping and snacks inside are also very reasonably priced!

Very interesting. it was really smelly outside the museum, but the exhibited were really amazing. I particularly like the tasting bar for some of the disgusting food, and gladly I was able to consumer all of them!

Fantastic 5.0
I thoroughly enjoyed both the permanent collection and the special exhibitions. The ability to see contemporary Asian art is a major advantage. Currently, a solo exhibition by artist Lee Bul is underway. You can also see works by Korean artists such as Kimsooja and Nam June Paik. The views of the West Kowloon Cultural District and Victoria Harbour through the large glass windows are a highlight in themselves. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, which showed great attention to detail. There are food trucks nearby, so it would be a good idea to grab lunch or dinner after seeing the exhibition. (I also visited the adjacent Hong Kong Palace Museum and saw the Egyptian exhibition.)

it was great. The Ninja was good as well. While the small little arcade area the some kids don't take turns properly and take a long time to play but over all it was good experience.

Nice visiting the HK Palace Museum while only 5 exhibition halls available out of 7 and would be great to have free lockers which would be convenient to visitors. In general, the exhibition about cobalt blue ceramics is fascinating!

What to know before visiting Hong Kong

What to expect in Hong Kong

The things-to-do catalogue here is led by Theme parks, Events & shows, Observation decks, Museums and Playgrounds, which gives you a mix from big-ticket family attractions to compact cultural stops and panoramic viewpoints. That spread means Hong Kong works for families wanting organised days out, couples after views or evenings at shows, and travellers who want quick museum or deck visits between other plans. Bookings build through the year toward October, and the quietest month is September, so getting into the same experience is generally easier in September and busier in October.

How to choose what to book

A main decision is whether you prioritise spectacle or convenience: for the widest range of options, Events & shows go from around HKD 148 up to about HKD 897, so shopping around can change what you get. By contrast, Observation decks sit tighter in price, typically around HKD 164, so there’s less scope to lower cost by hunting for deals.

If you need an affordable way to fill gaps, Observation decks are the most affordable entry point at about HKD 164 typical. For families and those after headline experiences, Theme parks sit at the top of the typical price list, typically around HKD 600, while museum and playground options occupy the mid-range where offerings and inclusions vary most.

When travellers from Hong Kong book

Most travellers book at short notice, typically around 1 day ahead, while the earliest planners book about 7 days ahead. Plan on booking within the week before travel for most activities, and allow that cushion in October when demand is highest.

How prices compare

The table below shows how the city's top categories compare on price so you can place a budget before choosing.

Category Typical Price Usual Range
Theme parks HKD 600 HKD 281 – 702
Events & shows HKD 195 HKD 148 – 897
Observation decks HKD 164 HKD 133 – 226
Museums HKD 187 HKD 94 – 195
Playgrounds HKD 226 HKD 179 – 289

Typical price is the median paid on Klook; the usual range covers the middle half of bookings, so cheaper and pricier options exist outside it; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, August 2025 – July 2026.
