Review for: Departing from Fukuoka (from April 1st)

my son and I really enjoyed our day in Nagasaki. Even though the guide only spot on Japanese and Chinese he still made an effort to communicate to us through an app. The effort was definitely appreciated. The itinerary was good. we spent about an hour in the Atomic Bomb Museum. I just wish we had time to go to the Peace Park, which we literally drive by and could see from out window. It would have been nice to have seen the Peace statue, visit the hypocenter where the bomb exploded, and take time to walk around. Glover Gardens was lovely. It was nice walking through all the old houses and buildings, getting to imagine what life was like living in Nagasaki hundreds of years ago. The highlight, though, was the view of the city from the top of Inasayama. we got there right as the sun was setting and it was magical watching the city start to light up! Overall, it was a good tour. easy transfers and definitely worth going to see this city.

Helen our local tour guide was so great! She could speak English well too even if the tour was only Chinese/japanese! We loved the Nagasaki tour, loved the itinerary and the places we got to see! Also the memorial museum was amazing and made everyone very emotional. Very well done cultural tour especially because of our amazing guide, Helen. She introduced and gave a little history about every stop and every place we went to! Very nice and friendly and very very helpful! Would do this again!

Overall, the itinerary was well arranged. 𧙗Tokuinari Shrine has beautiful scenery and is great for taking pictures. The Atomic Bomb Museum is relatively informative, just look at the itinerary of the museum. This scenic spot is only a few minutes' walk away from the Peace Park, but there is no arrangement to go there. It is a pity that you can't go there after riding for several hours. You can get there by adding 15 minutes. , it is highly recommended to visit the Peace Statue. The shopping street is not big, just a place to have dinner. There are also some Nagasaki specialties, such as cakes, but you can also find them at Fukuoka Airport. The night view includes cable car tickets. Although it is very cold, it is definitely worth a visit. Leader Chang also prepared heating packs for those in need. The arrival time of the itinerary at the scenic spots may be different from other general groups. When arriving at each scenic spot, it is unlikely to be rushed with other groups. The return and off-duty times are staggered. The drive is smooth and we return to Fukuoka earlier than the original time.

Our group started the bus without reaching 8 people. Thank you very much. Thanks to the tour guide Chen for introducing every place in detail. He was very considerate for us. He accompanied us to every scenic spot and gave us enough time. Very nice. The driver drove us very much. Very stable! The itinerary was great, I saw the museum, took the cable car, and saw the Milky Way-like night view of Nagasaki. Highly recommended to everyone

value for money. But a few things to improve: 1. instructions could be clearer. Eg. inform guests to take their lunch first before the tour. we only had a light breakfast and lunch was only possible at 4 plus pm. by then, not many restaurants were open. 2. more time for the atomic museum. we were only given less than 30 minutes. 3. guide did not converse during the bus ride. we didn’t know we were supposed to get off till the bus stopped. we have not get off the bus in a hurry.

Our guide was amazing. Despite a bit of a language barrier, she was very patient with us. A big thumbs up to our bus driver who was patient with the group.

It was my first time to join a one-day tour in Japan. We gathered around 11 o'clock and returned to Hakata around 9 p.m. It started to rain heavily in Late Inasa Mountain and the train was suspended. We had to wait at the station for the train to resume. Since the drive is very long, the overall arrangement is pretty good.

The tour guide Chen is kind and his explanations are great! Inari Shrine is quite nice to take pictures of. There are many torii gates, but the Atomic Bomb Museum is not of interest😅😅😅, and there is nothing selling food nearby. It is recommended to bring some food with you, because you will have to wait until night to eat in the shopping street. (The Spectacle Bridge is nearby. If you have enough time, you can take photos.) Although it didn’t rain in Nagasaki, the fog was too heavy and I wasn’t lucky enough to see the night view. It’s really a pity😭😭😭~ I’ll go there next time if I have a chance.

Before booking this tour keep in mind that the guide is a chinese speaker. In our case we are non-chinese speakers but decided to go with the tour because it will be hard for us to go to and fro nagasaki from hakata and visit all the attractions that we are eyeing. This tour is less costly considering the cost of a train/bus ride back and forth plus the attractions are included in the price.

Tour guide Chen has solid knowledge of scenic spots and I benefited a lot from this trip. It rained heavily on the day of the trip, so the tour guide had prepared umbrellas in advance and reminded us to be careful when slipping. We went to the Atomic Bomb Museum, and they also set aside time to take us to the Peace Park and air raid shelters, and to explain them. We were very impressed. In the evening, due to heavy rain and fog, the tour guide flexibly changed the itinerary after asking everyone's opinions, so that we could also see the scenery of Nagasaki in the evening. Thank you for your careful arrangements. This trip was worth every penny. I will choose klook’s tour group next time I go abroad!
