Just in time, the Japan Travel Pass is on sale for 40% off! It’s just a little complicated to use! Not intuitive enough
You will receive a dedicated email within one day after confirming the order. Register on the website and email your personal information to them. You can use the website to book trips to various locations in about a day, but please note that some popular locations require reservations at least a few days in advance. If you want to go to the Internet bar, it is recommended to go to the eSPORTS CAFE AIM near Takadanobaba Station. It is not recommended to go to the ESPORTS CAFE near Shin-Okubo Station in Tokyo because the latter is not free. The clerk said that NIPPON PASS only includes a 1-hour upgrade to high-performance seats. Additional purchase of the 3-hour Basic plan is required to upgrade.
In terms of tickets, if you can visit multiple attractions in one day, it’s a great deal! It’s also very convenient to book attractions online! But when you get to the attractions, the store will ask for a QR code. I don’t know if it’s because of the foreigners or the Nippon pass itself. The QR code cannot be scanned by the staff, so they have to spend a lot of time confirming each attraction before releasing it. ! At the Sunshine 60 Viewing Deck, I had to wait for about 10-20 minutes for the staff to complete a circle of confirmation before allowing entry...
Not many people use this pass. It is a very new discount. After purchasing, you need to make a reservation on the website two days before visiting. On the day of the event, it must be clearly shown to the service staff of the attraction that the noppon pass can be used to scan the code to enter the venue. I bought a day and chose four attractions: Tokyo Tower and red game area from morning to noon, Ikebukuro sunshine 60 observation deck + aquarium at night. Absolutely great value. All four attractions are top-notch.
This is a new product. Before using it, you need to register an account on the website and wait for the email reply to confirm the activation. The website says that it will take 48 hours to activate. I actually purchased it the night before and used it the next day. I received the registration confirmation letter the next morning to activate it. The required information was actually opened around noon. Because of the new products, the employees of each store were not very clear. There were also some problems when scanning and entering the venue, but the NIPPON PASS customer service was very sincere to solve it.
