What to expect
Learn more about the Korean War and the scars it has left on this divided peninsula by visiting the Northern Limit Line, the disputed maritime boundary between North and South Korea. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel in the morning and proceed to take you to the Northern Limit Line via the Iron Fence Zone along the border. You will be able to see markings of the armistice queue that has divided the two Koreas to this day. After registering to enter the non-restricted areas, you will make your first stop at the Aegibong Peak Observatory, where you can catch a glimpse of life in North Korea behind the DMZ. From the observatory, you can see Gaeseong city in North Korea and the military installations that are dotted along the DMZ. North Korea also set up a fake rural model village in this area as a propaganda tool. After this, you will stop by Yeonmijeong Pavilion and see the Han and Imjingang Rivers merge into the sea while enjoying lunch. In the afternoon, visit several more points of interest along the border area and stop by for souvenirs at a local Amethyst Factory or Ginseng Center before heading back to your hotel.

Reviews
We opted for the special NLL tour for a group of 5 because we wanted to see more. We were pleasantly surprised that it was a private tour for our group! Yun, our guide was awesome! He is conversant in english and shared interesting nuggets about military history. We also had a privilledge of a skillful driver who maneauver through narrow roads to see the off beaten tracks of deokpojin fort and nurigil road. Highly recommended the special tour because of the scenic beauty and the historical-political significance of the places. Thanks to Yun and our driver, we had a wonderful time!
Fortunately, the six of us turned into a package. The tour guides are very attentive and have a wealth of knowledge about the history of the city, which has deepened the background story and understanding of each attraction.
Overall, the itinerary is good. But the weather is bad and I can’t see North Korea. It’s a pity that the tour guide is very professional and the various itineraries are explained in detail (English tour guide). I want to give 5 stars before the tour guide and driver took us back to a family shop in Seoul. The kind of shopping store where the group meeting guests are locked in a small room to buy special products. My two children and I were dumbfounded by the arrangement outside the itinerary.
The guide was very friendly and patient. Lunch was good. I like the trip a lot! Will use Klook again.
The tour guide told us a lot of stories during the trip. I think it is interesting if you are interested in the military.
Like the military, the Korean and Korean war history interested friends not to be missed ~ Wizard introduced some of the story of the Northern and Southern War, an eye-opener ~
I originally booked the special NLL tour and paid through bank deposit. Unfortunately, I was informed later that it’s not available during our visit. So we changed to Standard NLL tour. But because of my mode of payment I didn’t get a refund. So I recommend you always pay through credit card or PayPal when using Klook. About the tour itself it was fine. Kelly, our guide was nice. It was a private tour, just our family of 7. So it’s convenient and comfortable. The only thing I was sad about is we didn’t get to step by the iron fence zone. When I read back the itinerary it states “drive by”. Then I realized why. Is it worth it? I think so. I always count the experience itself as something I should treasure.
