• Due to factors such as water levels, weather conditions, traffic congestion, holidays, and excessive visitor numbers during peak season, the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area implements a policy where boat tickets cannot be booked in advance. Tour groups must have all guests and guides arrive at the scenic area before purchasing tickets on-site at the window, queuing up and using their ID cards for real-name registration.
• If the itinerary encounters any of the above force majeure factors that cause the scenic spot to stop selling tickets or the navigation to be suspended, and the tour guide is unable to purchase boat tickets, in order to ensure the normal arrangement of subsequent itineraries, our agency provides the following solutions: ① It is recommended that tourists cancel the boat tour and pay the adult ticket price difference (10 RMB/person) to change to climbing and visiting the Leshan Giant Buddha. Those whose original package does not include boat tickets need to pay the climbing fee of 80 RMB/person themselves; ② Guests who are unwilling to climb and visit the Leshan Giant Buddha can rest in the scenic area parking lot, and the boat ticket fee of 70 RMB/person will be refunded. Those whose original package does not include boat tickets will not receive a refund; ③ During holidays or special circumstances when time does not permit climbing, if all tourists agree to cancel the boat tour, the boat ticket fee of 70 RMB/person will be refunded. Those whose original package does not include boat tickets will not receive a refund, and the group will return to Chengdu. Please be aware and understand!
• Smoking is prohibited in most areas of the scenic spot. Guests who smoke are requested to refrain or go to designated smoking areas, otherwise they will be subject to heavy fines.
• For round trips to Emei Mountain's Golden Summit, visitors can choose to walk or take the ropeway according to their needs. Due to the high altitude of Emei Mountain, choosing to walk too much may affect visitors' physical strength and sightseeing time, and slower guests may have to cancel some attractions. There is no guide accompanying visitors during the walk. It is recommended that visitors choose the ropeway for round trips to the Golden Summit. As the distance between various attractions in some scenic areas is quite far, and the sightseeing route exceeds 20 kilometers, if visitors choose not to take the scenic shuttle bus and opt for walking, it may lead to them being unable to tour the scenic area normally, and the guide may not be able to accompany them normally. Furthermore, some individual scenic spots cannot be entered without purchasing a shuttle bus ticket, please be aware.
• There will be many local specialty shops along the roadsides of the E'le scenic area. The quality of their products varies, so tourists should choose carefully based on their actual needs. These shops are not part of the designated shopping venues arranged for you within the scenic area. Mount Emei Scenic Area is a Buddhist holy site, and activities such as offering incense and lighting lamps in various temples are voluntary for guests. There are government-approved dharma item distribution centers locally, none of which fall under the category of shopping venues designated by the tourism bureau.
• Mount Emei has a high altitude, and the temperature is slightly lower than in the city. Visitors are advised to bring their own warm clothing. A jacket is essential for visiting the Golden Summit in autumn and winter.
• Tickets for Mount Emei Scenic Area require real-name registration. Visitors must bring their ID cards or other valid identification documents and cooperate with the tour guide to present them. If the travel agency is unable to purchase tickets due to the visitor's inability to provide valid documents, the visitor will be solely responsible.
• Most scenic areas in Sichuan offer complementary commercial services within their premises, meaning each attraction will have shops or vendors selling local specialty tourist souvenirs, Buddhist pilgrimage souvenirs, local products, and local snacks. Some tour guides in these scenic areas may also recommend and explain products to visitors. These complementary commercial services within scenic areas are not designated shopping locations by our travel agency. Please make your purchases carefully according to your own needs and remember to ask for an invoice.
• [Rain Protection]: Mount Emei is often cloudy and foggy, with light rain stopping and starting throughout the day, so appropriate rain gear should be prepared (lightweight plastic film raincoats are recommended).
• [Anti-slip]: Some sections of Mount Emei are very slippery and dangerous. Tourists should pay special attention to safety and should not wear smooth-soled or hard-soled shoes.
• 【Cold Protection】: Mount Emei has a relative height of over 2500 meters (Emeishan City at the foot of the mountain is only 420 meters above sea level), with significant vertical differences. The temperature is often about 10℃ lower than at the foot of the mountain, so it is necessary to prepare for cold early (cotton-padded clothes are also available for rent at the Golden Summit).
• 【Identity Description】: Tourists must bring original valid identification documents (ID card, passport, Hong Kong and Macau Travel Permit, Taiwan Compatriot Permit, etc.). Children must bring the original or a copy of their household registration book; this is for purchasing scenic area tickets. Children under 18 or seniors over 70 must be accompanied by a family member under 50 years old and sign a disclaimer. Additionally, seniors aged 75 and above are temporarily not accepted for group tours due to the strenuous itinerary and their physical condition.
• 【Itinerary Description】: Due to special reasons, our agency reserves the right to adjust the sequence of the tour itinerary, but the content of the tour will not be reduced. If the itinerary is affected by irresistible factors, the travel agency will assist tourists in resolving the issue, but will not bear corresponding losses. If additional expenses are incurred as a result, tourists are kindly requested to cover them themselves.
• 【Product Description】: If tourists voluntarily leave the group, relevant fees will not be refunded. All expenses incurred during the period of leaving the group shall be borne by the guest, and all responsibilities shall be self-assumed.
• 【Vehicle Usage Instructions】: Pick-up within Chengdu's Third Ring Road. Return trips will have a unified drop-off point. For guests from other regions, please do not book same-day return flights, train tickets, or bus tickets due to the late return time. The vehicle used for the itinerary is a tourist bus. For group tours with individual travelers, the vehicle may not be the same throughout the entire trip. Sichuan tourist vehicles are booked one day in advance with one seat per person; specific seating requests are not provided.
• 【Ticket Description】: Scenic area tickets are purchased under a real-name system, and there are multiple ticket checkpoints within the scenic area. Visitors must carry their ID cards and preferential certificates with them, and cooperate with the tour guide to present their documents. If lost, visitors must purchase a replacement ticket themselves.
• There are wild monkeys in groups in the Emei Mountain scenic area. Please protect your belongings.
• 【Dining Instructions】: The local diet of the group may differ somewhat from the dietary habits of tourists, and dining conditions are quite limited. Please be mentally prepared. To ensure smooth dining, all meals during the itinerary are pre-booked. If you cancel a meal during the trip, the fee will not be refunded. Tourists are advised to choose carefully, and our agency is not responsible for the quality of items purchased by tourists in such shopping stores. Especially some scenic spots themselves provide corresponding product sales counters, such as: the Buddhist artifact circulation center in the scenic area, mainly selling Buddhist beads, Guanyin statues, Maitreya statues and other Buddhist ornaments, as well as tea, medicinal materials, local specialties, souvenirs, snacks, etc. along the way. These are indeed actions of the scenic area, not intentionally arranged by our agency, please understand; Burning incense, lighting lamps, and requesting Dharma instruments: Mount Emei is a Buddhist holy land, the dojo of Puxian Bodhisattva. There are many places in the scenic area and temples for burning incense, lighting lamps, and requesting Dharma instruments. Please decide according to your own situation, and please inquire about the price before burning incense, lighting lamps, and requesting Dharma instruments. If you do not have Buddhist beliefs, please do not criticize openly, as some Buddha statues are not allowed to be photographed; there are photo services in the scenic area, please inquire about the price before consuming clearly.
• 【Travel Personal Accident Insurance Instructions】: Tourists who are in good health, capable of normal travel, have signed a legally valid travel contract, and are between 3 and 75 years old will be covered by personal accident insurance purchased by the travel agency; the insured amount and compensation standards will be implemented according to the relevant regulations of the insurance company. The insurance company does not accept personal accident insurance applications for tourists under 3 years old or over 75 years old. If tourists insist on traveling, they must voluntarily bear all responsibilities and consequences arising therefrom. The travel agency does not accept unaccompanied minors under the age of eighteen or seniors over 70 years old to join the tour.
