This lunch at Hong Ding Yan was the highlight of our Chengdu trip! Celebrating Chinese New Year here was truly unforgettable. The hotpot was outstanding—fresh ingredients, rich and flavorful broth, and authentic Sichuan taste that left us wanting more. The wonderful cultural performance added a strong festive atmosphere, making the whole experience both fun and immersive. The staff were warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chengdu—a perfect combination of delicious food, rich culture, and unforgettable memories!

It was absolutely fantastic. The voucher worked wonderfully and I got my ticket right at the beginning without any problems. The first steps into the hall were incredible. You felt like you were in another world. The food and performances were fantastic. Even though the price is a bit more expensive, I didn't regret it at any time. Right from the start, I was also given a menu in English, with the exact dishes, what is available and how long they need to cook in the hotpot. Great for me as a hotpot novice. In conclusion, I can only say: Absolutely fantastic and definitely worth it.

Although we arrived early and presented the QR code to redeem our tickets, the staff at the counter didn't recognize the Klook voucher code and couldn't process our tickets smoothly. After showing related email confirmations, the staff took a photo of the email and allowed us to redeem our tickets. Before entering, we mentioned that it was someone's birthday that day. We didn't need to show any proof of it. We thought they might just offer a small dessert or something, but we were surprised by how thoughtful the restaurant was. In addition to the petal and light decorations at our seating area, they also gave us a "meat slice cake" and a bowl of "special birthday noodles." After the staff gave their blessings, they also added a set of high-quality "special fruit wine." The performances and meals were excellent and elaborate. The circular seating area had a great view and wasn't blocked by any pillars. The front-row seating area was very interactive, but it felt a bit constricting while eating (too close to the dancers). I would recommend the second-row seating area, which offers a sense of presence without the feeling of being cramped while eating. I highly recommend experiencing this when you come to Chengdu!

overall the experience is good. full quality is good too. quantity is good as well, they don’t skim on portion. service is good as well. performanace is worth it too.

The food was fairly good and service was paced well with the performance. Performance also had interesting links to Chengdu. It was a good experience overall.

Overall, the experience was enjoyable. One of the key advantages of the VIP package is the seating arrangement, which allows guests to enjoy the performance from the front with an unobstructed view. VIP guests also receive their dishes more promptly, enhancing the overall dining experience. The quality of the food was acceptable and reasonably aligned with the price paid. One point that could be communicated more clearly is that the VIP package does not automatically include makeup and costume services. These must be booked separately as part of a makeup package. We only became aware of this upon arrival and paid the additional charges on-site. Furthermore, no professional photoshoot was included with the package. For those intending to dress up and take photographs, I would strongly recommend arriving at least two hours before the performance. This provides sufficient time for costume selection, makeup application, and photography before the show begins.

The restaurant is easy to find with directions located at the bottom of the building. On the first floor, staff are available to help you with the elevator and provide guidance. The food portions are generous and delicious.

One of a kind in the world. Amazing. Good food, good show. At first I felt it could be expensive, but after the show I felt it is worth every penny.

Beautifully and gracefully done performance! It was my brother’s birthday and i requested for a small cake, they even went thru the length to prepare a candle and small bookmark gift for him ☺️

the staff rescheduled us and upgraded us to VIP (front row seats get the full experience!). we had dietary restrictions too and they catered to that without problems. overall, this was the highlight of my entire chengdu trip. the performances were mesmerising, the service was impeccable and the performers were all engaging and good looking in their costumes.
