What to expect
Discover Japanese calligraphy through an immersive cultural experience near Tokyo Skytree. Surrounded by projection mapping inspired by Japanese art and nature, you will enjoy writing in a space where brushwork, sound, and digital visuals come together.
Learn basic brush techniques, then create your own piece. Choose a kanji or word you would like to write, or receive a personalized kanji suggestion inspired by your name or the meaning you wish to express. Your instructor will explain the characters and prepare an example for you to follow.
Complete your artwork on traditional hanshi paper and take home your favorite pieces. A display backing, protective tube, and traditional red seal are included. This 90-minute small-group experience is suitable for beginners, couples, and families.
