This was more of a round-trip transfer from the port to Pompeii than an actual tour. The meeting point at the Naples port was difficult to find, and we had trouble locating our car. We eventually met up with the driver via WhatsApp. Once in the car, it was just our group of two and another group of two Chinese tourists. We drove for about 30 minutes to Pompeii, where we were given vouchers for our admission tickets and told the driver would pick us up at 1:00 PM. We were able to rent audio guides by showing our vouchers, but there was no Japanese option. The ruins were magnificent, preserved in a way that truly brings the past to life. However, be prepared for extensive walking with no shade, as the site is vast. For the return trip, we received an email stating the pickup would be at 1:30 PM, and a different driver and car arrived. Finally, at the Naples port, we were dropped off at a different cruise ship's location, and had to walk about 15 minutes to reach our own ship.

Fantastic 5.0

Seller will what’s app you earlier to confirm the pick up date and time. We were picked up and transport to Pompeii and the local guide was very nice and knowledgeable. The whole tour takes about 2.5hrs and we were safely send back.

I need to tell you that this was absolutely not a half-day tour. There was no tour guide present at all. The morning pickup was arranged half an hour earlier than the scheduled time, and the return drop-off location was not the one previously arranged. The entire trip was terrible. There was no guide support service at Pompeii, making the whole visit pointless and completely wasting my reason for coming to Naples. I expect immediate compensation.
