Danny was great, the tour was as advertised, self guided and we got some great cherry blossom shots. I do wish we spent more time at Ueno park vs the last 2 stops as there seemed to be more to do there. I do feel like the cost was a bit high for what it was. We did get lunch added but otherwise we were essentially just paying for transportation to the parks, which you might be better off just taking the train to visit if you want to save money. It was $50 less for the trip I bought through the same company to drive us 2.5 hours away to Mt. Fuji.

You will definitely see a lot of cherry blossoms on this tour. However, it starts off pretty poorly. There are two pickup locations you can pick from but it’s still the same tour so the Ueno people will be waiting for the Shinjuku people at the hotel. The lunch is right at the beginning and very unnecessary. It’s very basic but whatever, I was fine with it. The part where the tour really lacks is unfortunately with the guide. Our guide Mario didn’t speak much English even understanding the bus number and when to be back was a mission. So of course this means you get very little information about what to do or see at each location. Your expectations for this tour should be that your basically getting lunch and transportation to the cherry blossom viewing locations and boat ride.

The itinerary was relaxed yet fulfilling. To handle the large crowds during peak season, the private car transfer service was very convenient. The meals were excellent, exceeding expectations.

The locations were great, but we felt we stayed too long at the 2nd and 3rd stops. The food we were served for lunch was not good at all. it would've been better to start the tour later and skip the lunch altogether.
The tour guide seemed a bit uninterested but more than anything the rains stopped us from enjoying the whole cherry blossom experience. Was really looking forward to the boat ride..but that got cancelled due to the weather.
I waited at the Ueno station Park Entrance by the ginkgo tree for over 2 hours. I waited 45 minutes after the meeting time and finally left. I could not contact anyone to resolve this issue. I will be following up to get a refund. This was an unacceptable experience.
It was said to be a flower viewing but there were not many flowers. It should have started on the 28th, so I felt cheated.
