Tai Kwun Contemporary's BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair 2024 is returning for its sixth edition, for three days from 30 August to 1 September 2024, on all floors of JC Contemporary, Tai Kwun. The art book fair will once again be welcoming local, regional, and international exhibitors—including publishers, artists, booksellers, and organisations—from Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China, as well as Japan, Korea, Indonesia, United Kingdom, United States, and elsewhere.
Featuring more than 110 artists, publishers, organisations, and booksellers, BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair will be presenting special displays at the intersection of art and publishing, together with a wide range of public programming such as talks, workshops, and performances. In particular, there will be an Artists’ Book Library special project that focus on how artists playfully raise questions about systems and formats organising and circulating knowledge, such as dictionaries, calendars, phrase books, and manuals.

I had a great time - small venue but a great mix of international and local stalls selling art books, risographs and more art; was there for a couple of hours and it got crowded at times. its a good idea to buy ticket online in advance so you can walk in. note to for next time, have cash or payme ready.
a great book fair with local and international creators and the booking system was smooth as well! getting into the exhibit was easy with the Klook booking.
Went to the Booked art fair today on a sunny day. It was a pleasure meeting artists, readers and book enthusiasts at the fair. Would defefintly revisit next year
Over-subscribed popular event with a long queue but having pre-booked, the entry was swift and easy. Lots of showcase and sale of interesting art pieces, books, merchandises such as tote bags and posters, etc. Crowd management is great to ensure ample space to browse. Be sure to bring cash/PayMe for the transactions!
Very easy to make a booking. The book fair itself was in a great location, easily accessible, nicely air-conditioned, interesting mix of local and international exhibitors. Tai Kwun has a lot of eating places (and there is a Shari Shari ice just opposite).
Easy to purchase ticket online and enter the book fair without needing to line up outside the venue to buy ticket.
It’s a very lively book fair. I bought my favorite books and saw interesting hand-made books. I spent almost 3 hours shopping here, but I haven’t finished them yet!
not bad, waited for 10 mins to get in. Just the book fair is really quite " artistic "that I may not be able to connect too much haah
It was a great experience! I can see so many different types of art book publishers and authors. We exhanged lots of views and opinions about art book making and publishing.
For art book fairs, it’s OK. There is only this art book fair in Hong Kong. It is not big in scale, but it also has different types of art books. I also bought a photography book that I like and communicated with image creators. I hope it will be bigger in the future.
