For a family member's birthday, I messaged the hotel staff in advance. When we arrived in the room, there was a very simple setup: the four characters for "Happy Birthday" in red, along with red rose petals, were laid out on the bed. Although simple, it was a thoughtful touch. As for the revolving restaurant dinner, the quality was average. Each person received half a cheese-baked lobster. However, for sushi, grilled steak, and lamb chops, we had to go up a flight of stairs to enjoy them. There were noticeably fewer restaurant staff, and the service wasn't as attentive as before. The soufflé for dessert was cold. When I asked a staff member to make a fresh one, he waited until other guests had taken the cold soufflés from the table before he would prepare hot ones, which was very disappointing.

The hotel is exquisite and clean, which is good. The variety of food matches the price. The view from the 50th floor is a bit different compared to 101 and Victoria Harbour.

Dinner: The revolving buffet restaurant has a nice ambiance, the food is decent, and it's great that red and white wine are available. We stayed from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

The room was spacious, though the water pressure was a bit low. The location is extremely convenient, close to King Glory Plaza. The staff were very polite. Breakfast and the buffet are served in the revolving restaurant, which has a great ambiance, but the food selection is limited.

It took half an hour to check in. The hotel staff (with a manager next to them) took a long time, repeatedly searching the computer system, and questioned three times whether I had booked this hotel.

The room is large and the decor is quite traditional. The 50th-floor buffet has a fantastic view, but the food is just average. The breakfast is better, and they provide simple decorations for birthdays. However, there was no upgrade, and the view facing the building opposite was just so-so. The staff service is generally very good.

This Klook package for the Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel provided my family and me with a wonderful vacation and experience. The hotel and room decor were elegant, and the revolving restaurant offered breathtaking views. From dusk till night, enjoying delicious food while watching the scenery change was truly delightful! We thoroughly enjoyed this staycation.
