Great eSIM for my Hong Kong and Macau trip. Activation took two minutes: scan the QR, turn on the line, and data started immediately. Coverage was excellent on the MTR, HZMB bus, and around tourist spots like the Peak, Cotai Strip, and Ruins of St. Paul. Mostly 5G with occasional 4G in tunnels, still fast for Maps, ride-hailing, Instagram, and video calls. Hotspot sharing worked for my tablet. Battery drain felt normal. It’s data-only, so I used WhatsApp, iMessage, and WeChat for calls and texts. Support replied quickly to a setup question. Unlimited data was stable; avoid heavy downloads to keep speeds consistent. Tip: disable other eSIMs, set this as the cellular data line, and restart once. Highly recommended. Overall.
The Esim worked perfectly! I had a very good signal in all the cities we visited (Shanghai, Tianjin, Beijing). I dont need to connect to VPN, and I can also share hotspot connection to my other phone. Highly recommended to everyone traveling to China! Reliable & easy to use!

super useful and it is indeed unlimited but you have to take in mind that sometimes signal is not working or slow but overall I’m happy even has a signal on elevators and mountains. bear in mind that it is not shareable via hotspot like what I read on some review here so we had to purchase another one

Checked all the internet options on Klook (pocket WiFi, physical SIM, and eSIM) and this was the cheapest and best option for our family of 3 adults. We only needed to purchase 1 eSIM since I could use my phone’s hotspot, and my parents just connected to it with no issues at all. The internet was very reliable in both Hong Kong and Macau, and we could even access TikTok without any problems. Super convenient and great value. Thank you, Klook!
easy to use. set up the sim while waiting for my flight and activate it when we reach shanghai. no need for vpn, you can access fb, ig, and any google apps without hassle
This was a bit awkward. My flight was canceled due to the direct hit of the typhoon, and I urgently needed internet access while stuck in Shanghai Pudong Airport. After purchasing this product, I had the confirmation email sent to my Gmail, but Google services are inaccessible in mainland China. In the end, I had to rely on iMessages to ask a friend in Taiwan to purchase an eSIM for me. This product went completely unused, which is a bit of a waste of money. P.S. I'm not sure how to attach photos related to internet access, so here are a few pictures of Pudong Airport!
