You do not want to drive in this part of Italy. Hardly any parking and your rental car will be scratched by a crazy driver. Check in at Villa Maria, park your car and take the local bus that runs very frequently to the Amalfi Coast 1.5 euros, take that spend your day enjoying your experience of Amalfi Coast, and Positano. Last bus back is at 11 PM. Enjoy your worry free experience of this Italian coast, with stunning views, with a great stay at Villa Maria.

Wonderful play to stay at the top of Amalfi. Amazing views. If you are worried about how to get there, don’t be. The bus system is flawless and runs every 15 minutes.

Lovely family owned hotel located in quiet area close to Amalfi. Delicious breakfast included. Nice terrace with beautiful views. Authentic Italian restaurants near by. Loved the tranquility of the area and the hospitality of the hosts. Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay here! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They were very responsive and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. You can enjoy a beautiful view from here as well. While it is located at the top of Amalfi, I personally liked this because you can usually get a seat on the bus since it is the final stop. It’s quiet, cozy, and relaxing! VilaMaria 직원분들 너무 친절하고, 정신없는 아말피에서 올라와 조용하게 숙박할 수 있어서 좋았어요. 정말 직원분들은 정말 친절하셔요. 버스 종착지점이라 나이가 있는 분들은 버스 타고 끝까지 올라갔다가 내려오면 좀 멀미를 할 수 있지만, 버스 종점이라 항상 앉아서 갈 수 있어 좋기도 했어요.

Great place to stay when visiting Amalfi. Free public parking, close to the bus stop going to Amalfi, center of a town but very quiet. Nice staff and very good breakfast. The view from our room was of the valley, very beautiful. I will stay here again.

Great hotel. Very clean. Lovely breakfast and coffee. In picturesque village up the mountain with easy access by the bus. If you are feeling energetic you can walk the switchback trail down to the town of Amalfi.
