I was so unexpectedly blown away by this hotel. I must have told my family a dozen times “didn’t I pick well?”. The location was perfect for our family with two teenagers. Close to the historic sights by foot but still in a busy shopping district so they could be independent. The design of the connecting rooms was ideal. The bathroom layout was also so well-designed. As an interior designer, I am very critical of how space is used and designed and I have to say everything was well thought-through. I also loved the free coffee in the lobby. I can highly recommend this hotel to couples, singles and families alike. Thanks for the great stay!

Good location, friendly staff, clean room and very accessible to other tourists spot you want to go. I like that they have a coffee machine which we can use incase we needed some.

Very nice and clean hotel. Room was big but had the sink in the middle of the room which was strange and inconvenient. Breakfast was quite poor quality. Location was great near Nishiki market and subway. Overall, would stay here again.

given the very reasonable price, the expectations have been exceeded. very helpful staff, rooms are comfortable and nicely designed. location is excellent, shopping, dining, bars etc all in very short walking distance. it was overall a very good surprise and I will choose it again when in Kyoto

The location was awesome! right in the heart of everything. walking distance to Nishiki market, other restos, donki, drugstores, konbinis and the station. nice area to stay. The hotel was also nice, clean room, space was ok-as expected in almost all hotels in Japan. friendly and accommodating staff. easy check in and check out. breakfast buffet was ok. will stay here again when travelling to Kyoto!
