Hotel Kuu Kyoto is one of a best hotel and have a great facilities, compare to others hotel we stay in Japan, the public bath is so great, the hot bath is nice and the sauna is so good, definitely a must stay if you are in Kyoto, highly reccomended. The hotel was beautiful, the feeling and atmosphere is like you are really in Japan, the atmosphere is so great especially as you enter the hotel, the hallway towards the reception is beautiful and across the hotel is a Temple, everything is just a walking distance, like foods and shopping, which make Hotel Kuu Kyoto a great location for a tourist like us. We would like to say thank you to Emily and Masaki, they make us feel like, we are home away from home, they are so helpful and even go beyond, if opportunity comes and travel Japan again, we will definitelly go to Hotel Kuu Kyoto for our hotel stay. Thank you.

This was our favorite hotel of the trip. It was clean, AC was good, the room was the biggest we had, short walk to the train station with a bus route right outside of the hotel, and the staff were so sweet!

10min walk from the Kyoto Station (Central Exit) There’s a lot of restraurants between the train station and the hotel. Gyukatsu Kyoto is 5mins away from the hotel. there’s a family Mart between the train station and the hotel (5-8mins walk from the hotel) Room is bigger than the normal size room in Japan. There’s a free shuttle/tour bus offered by the hotel with limited number of pax per day (you may email them for details or advance booking) there’s a free use of onsen and sauna as well. Okay location but bit far from Gion/Ninenzaka area.
