great hotel in a really good location. Quiet and peaceful but close enough to navigate the best of Kyoto either on foot or public transport. Service was super friendly and the food and drink options were plentiful. Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommendation for those who love art and design. This hotel offers quality fine space and good service all the time. The location is more than great because there is one underground exit connecting with the hotel. It's very convenient for those travel in the tube. There is one 200-years-old Kyogashi shop, Kamesuehiro(亀末廣), in front of the hotel front entrance. If you, like me, want to try some Kyoto sweets, this hotel would be your first choose.
