DO NOT GO THERE!! On Expedia, they tell you that you are booking a hotel, but you are not. Instead, what you’ll get when you check in at the actual hotel (where you think you’ll be staying) is a curt dismissal that you are staying at another property, no good explanation or direction from “hotel” staff who should very well be working back of the house. They didn't even provide a shuttle or proper guidance to get to where we were actually staying. Instead, they gave us a completely vague, confusing, and unclear description of how to find the alternate property. We had to wander around blindly just to locate it, only to find out it was a run-down, sketchy apartment complex, which was not where we actually paid to be. The location was terrible, isolated, and felt entirely unsafe. Once you are dumped at this secondary property, you are completely on your own. There is absolutely zero guest service or concierge support available. Basic, standard hotel amenities do not exist here—we couldn't even get something as simple as a clothes iron. The staff treated us like an inconvenience rather than paying guests. This entire operation feels like a classic bait-and-switch scam. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to be lied to, insulted, and stranded in a dilapidated apartment building.

This is neither a hotel nor an Airbnb. We were housed in a public apartment building, with no access to the hotel without walking back to the hotel. We were provided verbal directions to the apartment building. When we were unable to locate the apartment and returned to the hotel for assistance, we were met with a male staff who was abrupt, dismissive and unhelpful. When we finally made it to the room, the floor was dirty, there was no iron and no phone. There was no link to the hotel. The main/exterior front door was oftentimes unlocked and wide open. The door lock to the room floor was broken. These doors supposedly required a code to gain access. The area felt very unsafe. The “hotel” needs to fully disclose the accommodation types, provide written clear instructions on accessing the apartment building and provide a phone in the room to make contact with the hotel or emergency services. I would NEVER recommend this property.

Check in was a little confusing because the location is different from the actual room. Other than that the room was very clean and modern. The area around was a little below average but still walkable to almost anything.

Very unfriendly check in. Directions were scribbled and covered with circles he drew while clearly irritated being at work. Took long time to find the deluxe rooms. Codes are good but very sensitive - took many tries to actually get it to work. Water pressure is awesome! Room was very clean and the common area cozy but unusable really. Too far to go to main hotel for breakfast. But BOLOGNA is absolutely stunning!

I stayed in the apartments section of the hotel. Did not feel safe as main door was always found open. The shower hose was broken and I was not able to shower on the first day. Also there is no cleaning only once a week.

We were here for 1 night on September 20 and it was about 80 degrees out. The property was separate from the Astoria hotel which we new from the listing but it was quite difficult to find, We were hot and sweating and frustrated trying to find it. Luckily we saw a man in the area and he was very nice to point us in the right direction. When we got to the first door, the key pad was very touchy and it took at least 5 times to be able to get the door open. Our room was big, clean and modern with a very nice bathroom and shower, but it was hot and humid and the air conditioning did little to nothing. We set the air on 18 and it would run for a while then shut off for a bit even though it was still hot in the room, plus it only ran on one speed - low! We took cold showers and I didn’t use the blow dryer because it was already too hot in there. We left the air on and went to dinner. We were gone for 3 hours and when we got back after dark the room had barely cooled! Since it was cooler outside we opened the window and left the air on. The window opened to a rooftop surrounded by other buildings and it was quiet outside. There was no screen but we there weren’t any bugs at all outside and nothing came in all night. There was only a sheet on the bed and no blanket which didn’t matter since we didn’t even pull up the sheet until the middle of the night because it was so warm! Glad we only had 1 night here. We both like to sleep in a cool room and we would never stay here again.

Could not find the room using the location provided from Hotels.com’s link. The room’s location was not precise enough. Resulting in several phones calls, a walk to the hotel, were they provided a map with unclear instructions to the room’s location. The map was not useful. Luckily a non English speaking gentleman helped us find the room by using our phone to talk to the hotel staff. The room didn’t meet our expectations. The room was small and I couldn’t get the air conditioner to turn on using the remote control. We were offered a room in the hotel for 40 more euro.

Didn’t realize that where the check in desk was located was different than the unit where we would be staying. The instructions the staff gave was confusing and we had to go back and have someone show us the location. Our unit was on the main floor and had a terrible view. The A/C unit was loud and rattled noisily on and off.
