Overall stay was good! The location of the guest house is on the outskirts of central Kyoto so it is a bit far from everything and in itself is a walk from the (only) station. However, that does make it a lot quieter residential area to walk around before heading into the busy tourist areas. The host was very nice and friendly while the room accommodation was very spacious. The beds were a little uncomfortable but overall the living space was very nice.
