My family members gave it 2 thumbs up. The hotel was manned by mainly by cheerful young receptionists and cafe barristers that greeted you everytime you walked pass.
The room was spacious and clean. it also have a balcony that allowed me to enjoy the snow while drinking hot coffee/tea. I will defintely book it again.

Fav Lux Hidatakayama is superb. we stayed at Bunk suite for two night with family of 6. the room is clean and spacious. The location is very convenient, very close to the train station.

near areas like Miyagawa Morning Market and Old Town Takayama. The staff are absolutely accommodating and the room was incredibly impressive with delonghi appliances. The heater was functioning great and our room had an amazing view of the Hida Mountains. My only qualm was that the bathroom had little insulation with the glass walls which left the shower area very cold. The hotel also provided us with a qr code & code to have access in the room which was convenient for smart phone users.

spacious hotel room with kitchen. Near to the bus n train stn 1-2 mins walk. cross opp the street for the sightseeing’s with many shops selling their food n sovenious. Morning market so so only n bear in bear some accept cash only hotel itself doesn’t provides much amenities. no skin care products no teabags except drip cover. registration all done digitally n room keys operate by qrc. short stay no housekeeping except changing of towels upon request. overall it’s a nice stay.

The bunk bed room can accommodate 6 people max, I think it is perfect for 3~4 people to share. The room is clean and facilities are well-designed. Location is near JR station and bus station, really convenient to join outbound day tours.

The biggest hotel room in Japan during our trip. it was very comfortable for our family of 4 and modern. They issued QR code to access the room so you don’t need to remember to bring your card all the time.

The hotel is as advertised! It feels very new and shows in the amenities, furnitures, appliances, and facilities. Very spacious room, and the bath is the highlight of our stay. Staff is very accommodating and helpful, from reception, cleaners, and support. We'll surely return given the chance.
