Things to do in Jozankei Onsen

Yeah it was a really fun experience to go to the hot springs town and it was a easy process to get to there. Wasn’t too busy on way there was more busy on way back

Beautiful village. Definitely worth taking the trip. Get off the bus and explore the town of Jozankei - walk to the Suspension Bridge and through the park with the Buddha. Gorgeous scenery and beautiful onsen experience. Thoroughly recommended. Easy to use local transport to/from Sapporo.

Easy to use the voucher and claim the ticket in TV Tower. We chose the pick up and return point at Susukina Station. We reserved the seat and time, the bus arrived on time and the bus driver was very polite. We chose the Hoheikyo Onsan which was at the last stop. Really enjoying the hotspring with nice and nature scenary. Also the naan with curry wa very delicious.

Because it was going to snow on the day of departure, we chose Yunohana, which has an open-air hot spring pool. The environment is very clean and tidy. Towels and in-house clothing need to be purchased and rented by yourself. There are lockable and unlockable clothing storage areas. You can only take off all your clothes and bring a small sweater into the bathhouse. Shampoo and shower gel are also provided in the bathing area. There are many hot spring pools to choose from, and the outdoor hot spring pool is really beautiful with the snow scenery😍

The journey takes about 70 minutes, but it is really worth it to soak in the hot springs. The open-air hot spring part is also very good! Overall, if you want to save trouble, you can order

an amazing experience to try the outdoor onsen in Hoheikyo. staff were accomodating and friendly. Book the kapa liner since the normal scheduled bus you need to stand for at least an hour. the bus stop was easy to find as well

Great experience and half-day trip (or longer) for people visiting Sapporo. We went to hoheikyo onsen, which is a natural spring. Very clean and refreshing to be sitting outside in the onsen while it's snowing on you.
