Things to do in Kofuku-ji

Huahua was the absolute best tour guide! After two other tours had canceled on us because of the typhoon we were lucky to have been able to book this tour. It was actually a blessing because this was one of the best tours we’ve been on! HuaHua was an excellent tour guide and made sure we knew details and history about every stop we made. He even let us to know where we could get the best matcha in Uji! The tour included Uji , Byodo , Kiffune Shrine , and Katsuo-ji Temple. We were able to go to every stop with an ample amount of time to roam around and shop! Thank you to HuaHua and his beautiful singing voice for giving us the best tour in Osaka!

we enjoyed the tour very much, 1st time upclose experience with deer at Nara park, the bamboo forest is amazing and the shrine gates are very vibrant . we were expecting a large group of tourists but we were only 8 in our bus so it is very manageable. our tour guide Akira is also very friendly and helpful. this tour is highly recommended! 😍

Huahua was a fantastic guide and made our day trip to Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Nara Park and Fushimi Inari so enjoyable. He looked after all of us throughout the day, making sure we knew where to go, what to see, and the history and significance of each place. He kept us all together and on time while making everything feel relaxed and easy. It was a beautiful day, made even better by having such a wonderful guide. We would highly recommend Huahua!

10/10! Kimu-san was an incredibly knowledgeable and helpful guide. He was especially thoughtful with our 9 year old and made our experience so special! It was great being able to feed and interact with the deer away from the crowds while learning more about the culture and history in Nara. Highly recommend!

If you are visiting Kyoto and Nara, you absolutely must book a tour with ZOEY ( Tour Guide ) She is incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and just a charming person to spend the day with. She effortlessly guided our group so we could see the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, feed the deer in Nara, and explore the historical shrines without feeling rushed. Her navigating skills made a busy transit day stress-free. Highly, highly recommended 👍🏻

When you’re short on time and want to see a few places without worrying about logistics, this is the perfect tour to do. Zoey was a sweet guide & made sure we knew of the things we could do in each location. I would have liked more time in Nara so I could visit the inside of Todai-ji temple, but that said it is a quick visit type of tour and we needed to catch up some time because of traffic. The final stop was Inari Taisha and it was easy enough to stay on a bit longer and get back to Kyoto by train from there yourself. that way you can go up to the view point as the sun was setting, and slowly make your way back down.

Our driver provided an outstanding experience from start to finish. He arrived on time, was professional, courteous, and made our trip to Himeji Castle stress-free and enjoyable. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and he drove safely while navigating the area with ease. What really stood out was how helpful he was throughout the day. He even assisted us with translating while we were shopping for a gift, which made the experience much easier and more enjoyable. His kindness, patience, and willingness to go above and beyond were greatly appreciated. Thanks to his excellent service, we were able to relax and enjoy one of the highlights of our trip to Japan.
