Howard Plaza Hotel Hsinchu is close to the City God Temple, with a convenience store and Taiwanese fried chicken right next door. There's also a wonderfully relaxing Vietnamese hair salon nearby. The children's play area has a nightclub vibe, and it's adorable watching the kids dance to the music. Highly recommended!

Cheaper than buying tickets on-site. It's a small place; you can see everything in an hour. There are a variety of animals, including tigers, bears, and meerkats. My favorite was the tiger. It was a very hot day, and the tiger kept pacing back and forth, which was a little heartbreaking.

The front desk staff provided excellent service. I had some questions because I needed to go to the airport in the early morning, and the staff discussed them with me very patiently. The hotel can also arrange airport transfers. The room was small, tidy, and comfortable. The only thing I found was that the step in the bathroom was a bit high, which was inconvenient. Overall, it was great.

The space is well-planned. Both the sauna and relaxation areas are very clean. After a good sweat, I felt very relaxed and my skin was noticeably smoother. The shower area is excellently designed, with separate dry changing areas and wet shower areas, so you don't have to struggle to get dressed. The shower gel and shampoo also have a lovely, refreshing natural essential oil scent.

While it's a bit of a walk from the train station (about 1.1 km, or 15 minutes on foot), the surrounding area is convenient, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the City God Temple for local snacks. Definitely worth staying again next time.

Klook room bookings include parking and breakfast, all for just over a thousand. While the room facilities may be a bit dated, they are clean and quiet, making it the best value for money in terms of accommodation quality. Plus, there's a night market behind the station on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The room rate is great for how spacious the rooms are, and the pool and gym are well-equipped. The 24-hour luggage storage service in the lobby is a very thoughtful touch! You can even see the Big City shopping mall in the distance.
