Edinburgh Old Town tours

Fantastic tour of the underground vaults led by an experienced and knowledgeable guide. It’s genuinely creepy in the roomful of dolls in which children were locked in with the plague - a very real sense of being watched.

Interesting storytelling and passionate acting from our tourguide (who is an aspiring actor himself!). A must try experience when in Edinburgh.

Our tour guide Jackson was fantastic, and knew so many interesting stories about Rowling! I thought I had already explored the area thoroughly, but Jackson's tour led us to sights that most people wouldn't normally see!

The Old Town and Underground Ghost Tour in Edinburgh was a really enjoyable experience, mainly because of the tour guide, James Douglas. He was extremely active, social, funny, and knew exactly how to keep everyone engaged. His sense of humor made the time fly by. Honestly, during all my travels, I have never had a tour guide this entertaining and energetic. He was genuinely very good at what he does, and it made the whole experience much better. I was expecting a little more from the tour itself besides walking around the city and visiting the underground tunnel area, but I still learned a lot about Edinburgh’s history and its magnificent architecture. Big thanks to James Douglas for the wonderful time and positive energy throughout the tour. Definitely one of the most memorable guides I’ve had during my travels.

Walking tour was not bad but not many chances to take photos. Tour guide dressed up and did some make up to accommodate the "ghost tour" theme.

The tour was very informative, our guide Catherine is very engaging. She is knowledgeable and has great story telling ability. She uses humor at the appropriate time making the explanation interesting. 10/10 would recommend
