Our tour guide James was great. He really make the whole trip fun with the way he shared the history of both Stonehenge and Bath. Our driver Carlos drives us safely too. Whole trip was fun and enjoyable.

We visited three places in one day, but it didn't feel too rushed. Windsor Castle was beautiful, though no photos were allowed inside. Stonehenge was much smaller than I expected, but it didn't take long to walk around; about an hour was enough for photos. It started raining when we got to Oxford, and we had to be careful of pickpockets. While following the tour guide, some people tried to get close to us, and two of our group members had their backpacks opened. Luckily, we noticed in time, and nothing was lost. Lunch was fish and chips.

The tour bus was very comfortable, and it was full. The place to wait for the bus was easy to find at the bus stop. Each person received a bag of food including water, biscuits, an apple, and bread. It was pretty great. Then there was plenty of free time, almost 2 hours. Taking the shuttle bus from the visitor center was quick, about 5 minutes to reach the stone location. You can take pictures of the stones from different angles. A World Heritage Site you must visit in your lifetime. On the return trip, they will ask you which stop you want to get off at, such as the Natural History Museum road or Victoria. We got off at the Natural History Museum and visited the museum before going to dinner and returning to the hotel. A perfect day.

A fantastic travel experience that was both compact and rich. Dr. Wang, the principal person in charge of this trip, has a deep knowledge of British history and culture, connecting the dots into a timeline story, taking us from prehistoric Britain to the Middle Ages and then to modern times!

A very convenient pass, a great help for self-guided travel. Some places can be entered by scanning your phone, awesome! I need to recommend my friends to buy it.

What to know about Stonehenge

Stonehenge is one of the world’s first monuments and most famous stone circles, standing on Salisbury Plain near the River Avon in England. Built over many hundreds of years during the Stone Age, its massive standing stones—including sarsen stones, lintel stones, and the Heel Stone—were carefully arranged in a unique horseshoe shape and outer circle. No one knows for sure why it was built, but many think it was used for ceremonies, burials, or to follow the sun during the summer solstice. When you visit Stonehenge, start at the Visitor Centre to discover its rich history, then walk among the ancient rocks and imagine how the Stonehenge builders shaped this incredible monument that still stands after thousands of years.
