Kuala Lumpur Workshops

The shop is easy to find. The staff and instructor were very friendly and helpful. This was my first time learning pottery, and the process was so much fun. Especially that moment when you see the shape of your bowl or cup forming - it feels like watching your newborn baby take shape. LOL. I’ll definitely come back again. The only thing is the class cost is a bit on the high side 😂

the workshop is simple but fun, good if you’re short of time. there’re no other group when i visited so i was alone at the timeslot, but they still attended me 🥹 you’ll get to bring back the diy bowl in a box, they even packed it in a nice paper bag. u get a certificate and the apron too. WORTH IT. the museum guided tour is nice and interesting! the guide (Yi Ling maybe) even helped me taking pictures. the guided tour is a bit short but i think they allow to explore by yourself too. i wish i had time to explore the museum by myself after the w/shop but need to rush somewhere else 🥲

Awesome experience! Staffs were friendly & patient! Instructions were clear and we had a great time! topped up additional 80rm for 2 bigger canvas (30x40). Good activity as you can bring back your art piece right after! highly recommend!

staffs were friendly, esp they did brief to us on how to tuft before we start. store was clean and organised as equipments are ready before we were even there. They also provided free phone tripods to use. Love everything about tufting.

100% recommended. Our instructor was Liyana and she was the best! Came here to treat my partner and myself for our anniversary. I purchased the Hand Build class but since we were 20min late, Liyana suggested we try the Wheel as it’s faster than hand building, and she was worried we wouldn’t have time to complete our masterpieces hehe. Liyana was very patient with our unskilled hands. Her explanations and demonstrations were very helpful as well. Parking was a breeze too. The bowls took about 3 weeks to be ready but they are very prompt with updates. I opted to self collect. Price wise a bit steep but really worth it. Hope to try the Hand Build class next time!

Overall, it was a great experience bringing my family there. We originally booked for 1 May, but when we arrived, the shop was closed due to the public holiday. Apparently, there was a technical glitch in the booking system. That said, the Klook team was very efficient and responsive. They immediately arranged another session for the following day, and the café even offered complimentary pastries for my family, which were delicious. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the experience. We’ll definitely be back to try the keyboard-making keychain activity next time. Can’t wait! The staff and their hospitality were just amazing! we enjoyed our time at this workshop. karthik is a great teacher.

It was such a beautiful place to go and see how Batik was made! The woman who helped me was also very talented. The first step is to choose one template out of two boxes so you know what to draw. Then she taught me how to use the traditional wax tool and helped me learn how to control it so I could trace the template. She also helped me when I made a mistake/didn't push the wax too far into the canvas. Highly recommend this class!

Unfortunately, the tour is a bit short and fast, and a good command of English is recommended. Otherwise, everyone is very friendly and helpful. The workshop was really great; there were only two of us, and we were able to take home beautiful souvenirs.
