Highly recommended. Hotel Location: About a 10-minute walk from Kanazawa JR Station to the hotel. Service: The hotel front desk service is very enthusiastic, speaks clear English, and there are also staff members who can speak Chinese. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast: The breakfast is excellent, mainly Japanese-style, and also has local specialties. Recommended restaurants frequently visited by locals: Uogashi Syokudo Kanazawa Station Rinto (魚がし食堂 金沢駅 Rinto店), eat Hokuriku specialty raw fish, great value for money, the only drawback is that there will be queues. Honke Tonton tei (本家とんとん亭), authentic and professional tonkatsu (fried pork cutlet) restaurant, popular with locals.

This hotel was pleasant surprise. It provides a wonderful and cozy Japanese in experience (albeit in hotel format). It is excellently situated - walking distance from the Omicho Market, the Higashi Chaya, the Oyama Shrine, the Kanazawa Castle area and Kenrokuen.

This was an excellent hotel through all the points. It was literally right next to Kanazawa station to catch the train as well as the buses. There's a mall next door with lots of shopping and food. The rooms were pretty big and spacious. The bathroom had a full size tub. I think the only downside for me was the breakfast was a bit pricey for the options they had. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

The hotel is fairly close to the station. It's clean. There's a vending machine on my room's floor.

Great location,near the station and seven-mart. Unlimited coffee everytime is exciting.

Super convenient, very close to JR and subway stations. The room I was assigned this time was very spacious. Even with my two suitcases open, there was still a lot of space. The room was also very clean, and the staff were polite and smiling. This is my second time staying at Smile Hotel, and I'm still very satisfied. I will definitely book Smile Hotel again next time I go to Japan.

Unexpectedly beautiful and comfortable, I might consider becoming a JAL Hotel member. The location is convenient, the meals are very cost-effective, the service staff is energetic and elegant, the bed is very comfortable, the air conditioning is comfortable, with no noise or soundproofing issues. Although I booked very early, unfortunately, the third-party platform charged an extra handling fee, so the final deduction in NT dollars will be almost 10% more. In the future, I will only choose hotels that are not priced in US dollars to avoid being ripped off with deductions.
