What a meaningful and wonderful trip! What i like the most is Alisha, our tour guide of today! She explain everything very well, also helpful and easy to reach.. She has a beautiful voice haha.. she sing two songs for us.. The provided lunch is also good and well packed! Everything is also on time.. We don't have to worry about time because they arrange it well. As a traveler, this is one of the trip that i will remember.. The trip, the tour guide, and the friends that i met hahahaa.. Well done!

This was a very well-organized trip. I wasn’t expecting much and this exceeded my expectations. From the confirmation whatsapp messages to answering my questions, the tour operator was quick to reply and understood what I was asking (in English). The day before, you are put into a large whatsapp group and everyone going on the tour is blasted messages to let them know which transfer vehicles they will be boarding. Different drivers and guides appear along the way. An information package with vouchers, maps, and the itinerary are given out the moment you meet your first driver. Large luggage are driven up to the hotel, the train ride up Alishan was fun and beautiful in an old swaying train, and upon arrival there is someone waiting to pick you up. Timings of when to be back are verbally given out, use a translator app if you cannot understand. Watch your timings. There are a lot of people waiting for the sunrise train, you get an option to switch to a bus to go to another location too.

The guide was excellent! We met at the First Bank at 9:00 AM and then drove for 3.5 hours to Alishan, with a few stops along the way. Once we arrived in Alishan, we had lunch and then began exploring this beautiful forest together. The guide knows this vast forest perfectly, with its rich history and numerous trees. Around 3:30 PM, we enjoyed some teas grown in this beautiful forest. We started our return journey around 4:00 PM and arrived back in town around 7:30 PM. I 100% recommend this guide, who is kind, an expert in his field, and we had a lot of fun together. We were a group of four, which made for a great sense of camaraderie. Thank you again, Mr. Guide!

Going to Alishan was an incredible experience! It was so much easier having the transportation and hotels sorted through the tour. I hope to be back soon! Our guide Joanna was incredible! She was really welcoming, answering our various questions about the area and about Taiwanese culture in general. She went above and beyond, introducing us to local delicacies and taking us to see the sunrise in Taichung on the way back to Taipei!

Tony was absolutely the best tour guide we could have asked for on this trip! The drive to Alishan involves some winding roads, but he drove so smoothly and safely that we felt completely comfortable in the car. He is a fantastic conversationalist who kept us entertained during the long drive, and he really knows his way around the Alishan forests. A highlight was when he took us to a quiet village to have lunch and watch the train pass by—a spot we wouldn't have found on our own. He even brought his own camera and shared high-quality photos of us and the scenery afterward. I was traveling with my senior parents, and Tony was incredibly patient and made the entire experience easy for them. We highly recommend booking him for a group tour!

honestly the 5 stars are for our tour guide Ken Huang and driver Sam Wang. both were so informative and kind. The places we visited were amazing but these two made it better. We were so fortunate. The 5 star hotel accommodations were also amazing

first time staying at this hotel and despite being a 3 star hotel, the hotel is good with spacious rooms, good variety of breakfast and great location which is just next to wenhua night market. however I didn't see many facilities within the hotel except a restaurant. staff members were generally friendly and helpful but I faced one or two staff at the reception who seemed impatient to answer my questions. check-in and checkout were quick which was fantastic. overall, I will still come back to stay with thos hotel if I visit chiayi again.

Overall, the accommodation experience was very good. The environment was spacious and comfortable, and the public spaces were also kept quite clean. I recommend arriving at the hotel early to look around or relax. The hotel provides underground parking, and if the parking lot is full, you can also park in a nearby parking lot and the hotel will assist with paying the fees, which is very thoughtful. The room includes indoor slippers, making it comfortable and relaxing to stay in, but the number of seats is slightly limited, which may be a little inconvenient if you want to eat or pack your luggage. The location is also quite convenient, about a 15-minute walk to Cultural Road Night Market, making it easy to grab a late-night snack or go shopping at night. I especially recommend the nearby A'e Doujiang Douhua, which is delicious and has a local feel. Overall, with comfortable space, convenient transportation, and parking friendliness, this is a hotel I would be willing to visit again 👍

Pros: 1. The location is right by the Wenhua Road Night Market, and there's a partner parking lot nearby (free, unlimited in-and-out access). The soundproofing is good. 2. The staff provides excellent service. 3. Check-in time is until 9 PM, but I called to check in by phone because I wouldn't make it in time. They said they would leave the room key with security (luckily, I still made it in the end). I recommend calling ahead if you think you'll be late. 4. After 9 PM, you enter and exit through a side door. There's security, so it feels safe. 5. The breakfast is simple, good, and tasty. There aren't many options, but what they have is delicious. 6. We stayed in a six-person room, and it was very spacious. There was even a dedicated area for hanging clothes (it would be even better with a door for changing privacy). It had three large beds (one was slightly larger than a standard queen size), a small living area, and a refrigerator. We slept well. One of the beds was softer than the others, but it didn't bother me. 7. Bottled water, tea bags, and Laoyang Cube Biscuits are provided. Basically, there are no downsides. I would recommend this place the next time I visit Chiayi or if friends ask for recommendations. Highly recommended!
