Whole Experience to Kamikochi The trip to Kamikochi was truly wonderful, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Traveling from Nagoya took about 3.5 hours, and it was absolutely worth it. Along the way, our tour guide explained the entire itinerary in detail and even shared some great food recommendations that we must try while in Nagoya.

Distance between both sites is not short, and having this tour helps a lot for those who may not have a short time in Nagano. Our guide was Shuhei. He was very pleasant and spoke good English, and was patient to accommodate our family in the Snow Monkey Park due to the unexpected heavy snowfall and slippery surface. we were rewarded with a beautiful experience with the monkeys, the photos speak for themselves. He brought us to a soba shop for lunch that served really good soba and tea, followed by a tour to the Tokagushi Shrine. The snowfall made the trees really magical and there was even enough snow for the kids to play. Shuhei brought us to the relevant spots and highlighted the photo points. He accommodated changes to the schedule and we were grateful for this. All in all happy with the tour

I really enjoyed this one, even though it unfortunately rained during my trip. I will definitely do this again next time and hopefully it won’t be raining next time. Views are still immaculate even though it was raining, the japanese alps still peaked through. I did this tour on November 9, 2025 for anyone looking for ideas how Kamikochi looked like during this time. It was really cold and there were even blocks of ice/snow on the ground! (i think it snowed a few days before our trip).

We enjoyed our kamikochi experience. It was cloudy that day but there were times that it would fade away revealing a really beautiful scenery- I highly recommend it esp for nature lovers. Our tour guide Ms Amy was very helpful. Overall our experience was just amazing. thank you Klook 😊

Kamikochi – often called "the homeland of the gods" by the Japanese, and a place you should visit once in your lifetime. When planning this trip to Japan, I specifically started the journey from Nagoya to visit Kamikochi, taking a day trip via Klook to reach Kamikochi in Nagano Prefecture. The day before in Nagoya, it was raining, and I was worried that the weather in the mountains today wouldn't be great. But as soon as I got off the bus, I was shocked and moved by the beautiful scenery before my eyes. A cool breeze and comfortable sunshine poured down, with the Hotaka mountain range standing majestically in front of me. The waters of Taisho Pond and the Azusa River sparkled in the sunlight. While hiking towards Kappa Bridge, it felt like time had slowed down at this moment— leaving only my heartbeat, breathing, and the distant chirping of birds. At first, I was hesitant to join this tour. But, when I finally made up my mind, this tour became one of my most memorable trips here in Japan. Our tour guide Leonardo/Leo was very accommodating. He explained us very well about the routes 1 & 2. You can choose on either of it. We chose route 1, so we could have more time to take pictures on the way. I also commend the bus driver for the safe ride back & forth. 3.5 hours of free stroll around kamikochi was enough to view, take pictures, and enjoy the beauty of the nature. The weather was sunny and the mountains were visible. The rivers are clean and clear. Before we head to the bus terminal at 3pm for the departure going back to Nagoya, we were able to buy gifts and souvenirs near Kappa bridge. Just make sure to always check the time when buying as there are many people in the stores queueing to pay. Overall, this tour is worthy of price and experience.

Guide was friendly and to the point. Niki castle was overrated for me- had empty rooms inside which made no sense to me. Kinkaku-ji is a must do in Kyoto, Aarishyama area and Fushimi Inari were superb too. my parents don’t walk a lot but they were able to do this comfortably in the time that we had each place. we just went to the start point for Fushimi inari. For aarishiyama do take the bamboo route and then enter the Tenryu-ji temple from back gate- it cut downs the walking and the temple has a lovely garden

We had such a great time on this guided tour! Our guide was super nice and explained everything we saw along the way - from the old post towns and traditional houses to the forests and mountain views. It really helped us appreciate all the little details and history behind the trail. The walk itself was beautiful and not too hard, with plenty of chances to stop, take photos, and enjoy the scenery. Definitely recommend this tour if you want to experience the Nakasendo Trail and learn about its history with a friendly, knowledgeable guide!

The tour was excellent, and given by the big boss himself! His English was excellent. I appreciated him taking the time to answer our questions and taking us through the process step by step, not just in his factory but also on miso production in Japan as a whole. The lunch was exceptional, the flavours perfectly balanced. The staff was courteous throughout and the gift bag was very well thought out. I enjoyed my time here and highly recommend this experience. Excellent value and a high quality experience.
