Things to do in Kaohsiung

It was a long drive from Kaohsiung but it was smooth and comfortable. The guide, Mr Charlie was also very informative and gave us some “photography lesson” while walking around the forest. The tour was informative and enjoyable at the same time.

Shoushan Zoo's park design is fantastic, making it a great place for families to have fun even on hot summer days. It's also a great place to take a break when you're tired of walking around. We recommend arriving early in the morning when the zoo opens because that's when the animals are most active, eating breakfast, looking for food, drinking water, and full of energy. They aren't hiding from the heat yet, so you can see all the animals in their full glory. In particular, the white tiger, Zhao Hai, will walk around in the morning as if he is strutting on a runway, which is very interesting. The zoo also offers a limited amount of free hay for feeding the lambs and other animals in the feeding area. In addition, there is a fairly large children's water play area with rinsing facilities near the park entrance. For dining, there are two restaurants serving burgers, fried food, set meals, drinks, and desserts with a minimum charge. Bought the tickets in bundle of 3 persons is cheaper then buying 3 individual tickets. Exhibition is in Kaohsuing Taiwan. Easy to redeem, just to scan at the entrance to enter to exhibit. This museum beautifully illustrates how Taiwan has developed into a hub for science and technology, providing a great perspective on its history and future. Some of the installations are quite interactive and enjoyable.
