Things to do in Kanazawa

Vasara Kimono Rental gave me an amazing experience. The staff were patient, friendly, and very professional in helping me choose a kimono that suited my style. The dressing process was quick, comfortable, and done with great skill. There were many beautiful kimono designs to choose from, and the hair styling option was totally worth it—simple but elegant, perfect for photos around the city. The location was convenient and close to popular sightseeing spots, making it easy to start exploring immediately after getting dressed. Overall, the service, quality, and experience were excellent. If you’re exploring Kanazawa this pass is extremely worth it I’d say! It paid for itself really fast and makes entering all the main attractions much smoother as well since you don’t need to get cash out or anything, super convenient!

Guides were very knowledgeable about the area and even the driver can speak English. It was snowing during our visit. The time given to explore the area was just nice, not too long or too short. The agent was also very helpful to accommodate to our dietary requirements. Recommended.

This day trip was very well organized and made it easy to visit Shirakawago without worrying about transportation. Shirakawago itself was stunning, especially the traditional gassho-zukuri houses, which felt like stepping into a postcard. The schedule was smooth and gave enough time to explore, take photos, and enjoy the scenery at a relaxed pace.

Guide was Ricky and he was helpful and generous with recommendations on what to look out and what local food to eat. We reached all 3 places on time and there was sufficient free time to explore around. The trip also includes a night stay at a hotel at Kanazawa, thank you!

I had an absolutely brilliant time during this tour! Our tour guide was very insightful, knowledgeable, and knew the locals well! We were able to try some local handmade sweets as well as warm tea for free, while searching for all the little kittens around Inami! Stunning history and views. I'd highly recommend. The transfer for me heading from Kanazawa to Takayama was incredibly easy. They just took my bags to the other bus for me, I didnt have to lift a finger! I'd say the only con for me is booking with Klook, you annoyingly can't just book one ticket so I had to buy 1 adult and 1 child ticket even though it was just me :( so for any solo travellers reading this I'd recommend booking directly with the tour guide company instead for a better deal!
