Things to do in Chitose

Our tour guide Oscar was very informative and spoke to all attendees in Mandarin, Japanese and English very well. I can't recommend this excursion enough and highly recommend booking for middle of October to see the beautiful fall colours while the weather remains clear and mild. Lots of great photos opportunities throughout the day as well!

I recommend this to anyone who wants to fully experience the natural beauty and atmosphere of autumn. Thank you for the comfortable guidance and for taking us to such great restaurants in Sapporo.

Good weather makes everything nice! I went on October 10th and it was very pretty. Although the stay was a bit rushed, the mountain scenery was gorgeous when about 50 to 70 percent of the leaves had changed color. Lake Shikotsu didn't have quite enough fall foliage, and the Kochia at Yuni Garden are much smaller compared to those at Hitachi Seaside Park, but with good weather, the photos turn out amazing.

Our guide, Alex, was great and helped to take photos of many of us. He also shared bits and pieces of information about the attractions we went to in English and Chinese. The timings allocated for each attraction was also just nice. For those without transport, this was worth the money.

I took the trip with hide cai. I liked the pace and the sites were what I wanted to see. The tour guide spoke English well and was able to provide valuable information about the sites that we visited. The weather also cooperated today and we did not encounter any rain.

We had a great time in our private tour with our driver 维钢. His van was comfy and clean. The rate we paid was higher compared to other operators but it was a last minute booking and glad there was still available van and driver to cater us. Thank you. Keep up the great service.

Our tour guide, Ella, was very professional in her explanations and helped us purchase tickets. Her time management was excellent, allowing us to visit sites efficiently. I give her five stars. My main concern was that the mini-bus drove extremely fast. It was the fastest I've experienced in Japan (we didn't even take the highway on this trip). Combined with numerous potholes and hairpin turns, the vehicle often vibrated. On the return night drive, I was frequently worried about the speed affecting our safety. Perhaps the packed itinerary meant the driver had to rush. As other reviews have mentioned, the bear farm isn't a necessary stop. Also, the Lake Toya fireworks were very small and lacked music. If you've seen other artistic fireworks displays in Japan, you might not need to include the Lake Toya fireworks on your viewing list.

A great choice if you want a beautiful, flexible, and well‑organized tour that lets you make the most out of a short travel window. Highly recommended for anyone who wants freedom and variety without sacrificing convenience.
