Surfing Lesson at Kuta Beach by 27 Surf Bali

We had a very good instructor! My son had never surfed before! This was his first experience. On his very first try, my son was able to stay on the waves by himself. A big thank you to the instructor. We were a little late, but our agent wrote that they were waiting for us and we could still come. Thank you to the company for that ❤️

The photos of us surfing were a bonus which they provided within 2 days of activity.

Our first surfing experience was absolutely amazing! The coaches were professional, kind, and made us feel safe throughout the whole lesson. My kids loved it so much that they already want more classes! We’ll definitely be coming back to 27 Surf School the next time we’re in Bali. If it’s your first time surfing, don’t be nervous—they’ll take great care of you! 🏄‍♀️🌊

We were hesitant about letting our children take surfing lessons, but after reading good reviews, we decided to try 27 Surf Bali. All of the kids really liked the instructors. Both instructors were fun and friendly, and they paid attention to the kids' safety while guiding them well. It was a very satisfying lesson, and we plan to take several more lessons while staying in Bali. From booking to post-booking, they provided excellent guidance via WhatsApp and even sent us great photos, which we were really pleased with. The kids say it's so much fun and they want to learn every day. Thank you for giving us a great experience ^^

First of all, as a tourist from China, I want to say I'm not a shill! The experience was amazing. The Indonesian guys have a natural feel for the waves, catching each one with remarkable accuracy. Because I had some experience beforehand, my success rate for getting up and riding was basically 100%, and it wasn't tiring at all. They have professional equipment to take photos for you. Safe! Fun! It was my favorite surfing experience, and I'll be back again on the 27th!!!!

I had a one-on-one lesson that included pickup and drop-off transfers. This was very convenient for tourists, as we didn’t have to book additional transportation. My coach, Jaya, was patient, encouraging, and made surfing fun. I truly enjoyed the session. We did the 4:30 session, and it wasn’t hot at all. At first, I had a hard time standing up, but after a couple of tries, I managed to do it with the help of my coach. My coach cheered for me from behind, which was so cool! Here are some of the photos they sent me, which were included in the package. I would definitely recommend this experience.

The instructors are all kind and provide great guidance, and the surfing school's location is not crowded, which is really nice. Beachwalk is a short walk away, and most importantly, it's often inconvenient not having a good space to shower and change clothes after surfing, but here you can shower right next to the school (free of charge), and the restroom inside is clean. If the shower water runs out, you can also shower and change clothes across the street for 30,000 Indonesian Rupiah per person, so it was really convenient and great, and I consistently took surfing lessons at 27 Surf School. This time, the waves were high, making it not easy for beginners to surf, but the instructor guided me well, so I listened well and came back.

Everything was amazing. It was my first time surfing. Everything was explained on the beach, and in the water I was helped, the instructor fully supported and guided me. I managed to stand on the board on my first try. They also took photos for free. Highly recommend to everyone! Amazing.

Our instructors, Ardi and Romes, were incredibly professional and attentive. They explained everything in great detail and even used simple Chinese to help us understand. This was our first time surfing, and at first, I couldn't quite get the hang of it. Coach Ardi constantly encouraged me, told me what to do, and even held my surfboard until I found my balance. I was finally able to stand and maintain my balance for a while, and I was very satisfied. It was a fantastic experience! I highly recommend Ardi; he's fun, talkative, and very patient. Romes was also excellent and very professional.

Equipment: The surfboards are foam boards, which are great for beginners. The leashes are also relatively new and very sturdy. Location: At Kuta Beach. I booked a pickup and drop-off service, which was a convenient and fast round trip by motorcycle. Instructor: The instructor was excellent, spoke a little bit of Chinese but not much, and was very humorous and engaging. I recommend having at least some English proficiency for the lesson; if you don't understand English at all, you might want to reconsider, as the experience might not be as good. Experience: The experience was fantastic! Photos were included, and for an additional 100k, you could get video footage. It wasn't a high-pressure sale; you only paid after watching the video after the lesson. If you didn't like the footage, you weren't obligated to buy it or pay. Safety: For beginners, if you're buying a package, just get the beginner lesson + transfer. There's no need to buy insurance; it's useless and expensive. Plus, they didn't even register my personal information, so it seems they didn't actually purchase any insurance.
