【Asahikawa Zoo】 Asahikawa Zoo is the northernmost zoo in Japan and has become the most visited zoo in the country. Its biggest feature is its humanized design, which maximizes the freedom of the animals in their enclosures and allows visitors to observe the animals up close through clever displays. Every winter, the zoo offers a special penguin parade.
【Blue Pond】 The impurities in the waterfall give the pond various colors such as bright blue-green, emerald green, and cobalt blue.
【White Beard Falls】 White Beard Falls is unusual for Japanese waterfalls because it emerges from an underground river. In winter, the waterfall is especially spectacular when the hoarfrost and shiny icicles illuminate the blue ice valley below.
【Ningle Terrace】 Immerse yourself in the super-popular Ningle Terrace in Biei, Hokkaido! Stroll along the wooden boardwalk through the forest and capture fairy-tale-like photos. Very beautiful scenery. The tour leader, Rourou, was attentive and gentle, and helped fellow travelers with their needs. The vehicle drove very smoothly on the snow-covered roads. The penguins were very cute, and Shirahige Falls was also very beautiful. I really enjoyed this trip. If friends or family come to Hokkaido next time, I'll bring them on this tour!
It was a wonderful experience. We went to Asahiyama Zoo, Shirahige Falls, and Blue Pond, although it's frozen, and Ningle Terrace. I think the only drawback is that we only had a short amount of time to stay per attraction. The tour guide and the driver were both nice, and we enjoyed the tour. Thank you.
My husband, 2 kids, and I joined this trip and we were very satisfied. One of the places in the original itinerary had road closures, so Roro replaced it with an even better spot where we got to enjoy snowmobiling. There was also an unexpected incident where my husband accidentally left his wallet on the bus, and we only realised it after we reached our accommodation. Thankfully, Roro helped us contact the bus company, and the wallet was successfully found. Roro personally assisted in returning the wallet, and none of the cash or cards were missing. Thank you, Roro — this trip was truly a wonderful and satisfying experience for our family.
This was my first time using Klook and I had a great experience! Even though my tour experienced some delays and changes, I knew that it was nobody’s fault and still had an amazing day! Regardless of the delays, my tour guide still gave us enough time to enjoy and really take in the sites we did get to visit. The tour guide was very enthusiastic throughout the day and was very accommodating to me being the only English speaker in the group. He made sure to translate everything and gave very interesting descriptions of the sites we visited which kept me engaged. I usually don’t go to zoos, but the Asahiyama Zoo was very nice! The animals were so cute and the food was great too! The blue pond and shirahige waterfalls were also breathtaking! Overall I had an amazing experience on this tour and it made my first trip to Hokkaido unforgettable! The company also provided us with tea and sweet treats to compensate for the delays which I appreciated a lot! I couldn’t recommend this tour enough!
This tour group is small, only about 10 people. The overall itinerary is a bit rushed, with limited time at each stop. Please note that there are many tour groups visiting Asahiyama Zoo. After the 10:30 AM opening, each tour group enters in sequence (meaning more waiting in line). It gets so crowded that the food stalls in the middle of the zoo have very long lines. Our group only had 1.5 hours at the zoo, plus time for lunch. After accounting for the queuing, we couldn't see everything, nor could we leisurely sit down for lunch. The food stalls near the entrance are less crowded than those in the middle of the zoo, so I recommend going there for lunch on your way out.
I booked it the day before and was lucky to get it. I was a little panicked at first because I couldn't find the tour guide at the starting point, but everything else was 100% satisfactory. We visited all the locations on the itinerary, and the tour guide provided detailed explanations and also reminded us of what to buy and what not to buy. Before going online, I saw some tour groups would take you to local specialty shops and force you to buy things, which I was a little worried about, but this tour didn't do that at all! Everyone can rest assured. After returning to Sapporo Station, the tour guide also thoughtfully told us where the restrooms were and recommended what to eat for dinner. Very satisfied and I will choose her again next time.

You can book without hesitation. It was an excellent experience! We loved the itinerary and the view on the way is incredible, and I would especially like to praise our guide, Fancy — she was amazing, explained everything clearly, and the best part was that she was always answering our questions, very kind and attentive. The driver also had a very smooth driving style. We loved the tour, and if we return to Sapporo, we will definitely book again in another season.
Departing on December 8th, the meeting point will be at the bus station in Sapporo. The bus was delayed because it was waiting for people in the group who hadn't arrived yet, but the driver sped to catch up with the bus that had left earlier. Amazing!! The day we went, the blue pond wasn't visible because it was so white. And at the waterfall, it was snowing a lot. Everything else was good. Ningle Terrace was very good. The only problem was that it took a long time to find the bus on the way back because there were a lot of buses at this station. ❄️🩵🇯🇵
Must do and visit tour. Many breaks for food and toilet in between. Tour guide was helpful and understandable.

- When traveling, please be sure to abide by the following rules. The tour time is strictly in accordance with the itinerary. If you are late for the bus due to personal reasons, we will have to shorten the stay at the Elf Terrace. Note!!! If you are more than 5 minutes late, in order to ensure the normal progress of the trip, the bus will depart directly!!! You can choose to go to the next attraction by yourself, or leave the group by yourself (※ fees cannot be refunded)
