Kandy To Ella Scenic Train 3rd Class Reserved Seats Ticket

The Kandy to Ella train was definitely a highlight of the Sri Lankan trip. Really happy I was able to find tickets through Klook. Bookee 3rd class and was slightly worried it would be overcrowded. Not the case. Spacious seats and best of all you can open the windows. In first and second class the seats are little more like coach/bus seats, but for the train experience suggest 3rd class.

Despite my timely efforts and research into train tickets, I had no chance of getting any. One provider cancelled our tickets after we became suspicious because he hadn't contacted us (probably he hadn't even contacted us). Here it finally worked and the provider responded quickly via WhatsApp and sent me the tickets. We even got an upgrade to 2nd class and two window seats on each side, so we had the best view on both sides during the journey. After my bad experiences beforehand, we are all the more grateful to have found such a reliable provider. The journey itself is fantastic and I recommend it to anyone who comes to Sri Lanka. The weather could have been a bit better, but it wasn't a total disaster and you have to remember that you are travelling to the highlands, so a bit of fog, rain or cloud cover is not unusual. I can absolutely recommend the provider and the train journey!

Despite the train from Kandy to Ella being unavailable due to the cyclone, there was no notification whatsoever. To make matters worse, when I went to the station to inquire, I was told that my ticket purchase was not registered, and the platform was closed off with shutters, preventing entry. I tried contacting the phone number and WhatsApp listed on the website to request a refund, but I couldn't get through. I paid a high price, but there's no refund process for the canceled train. This is a complete scam website. I demand a refund immediately. The train: unavailable, and no refund. This is a scam website.

The train from Kandy to Ella is currently not operating due to a track malfunction. We were unaware of this and purchased tickets, but received no communication from the operator. As a result, we couldn't board the train and lost our money. Not only were our plans disrupted, but we also feel terrible about the wasted money. We request an immediate refund and an update on the train's operational status.
