Karuizawa Prince Ski Resort is a beautiful and well-equipped all-round ski resort, easily accessible in about an hour by Shinkansen from Tokyo, and is one of the best ski options around Tokyo. The ski trails and snow park environment here are very well maintained and suitable for beginners and intermediates to enjoy skiing. The ski season starts in November, and the cold air combined with advanced snowmaking machines provides high-quality snow conditions. The ski resort is located in a vast resort area. The base of the resort includes the Karuizawa Prince Hotel and a large comprehensive shopping mall. You can enjoy shopping and dining while skiing, making it an ideal ski vacation destination.
Ski slopes and facilities
Karuizawa Prince Ski Resort has become one of the first ski resorts in Japan to open year-round with its advanced snowmaking technology. The ski trails are mainly designed for beginners and intermediates, and the rich and varied terrain changes are suitable for ski enthusiasts of different levels. In addition, the ski resort also provides various facilities such as shopping, hot springs, sightseeing and food to make your time after skiing more fulfilling.
Things to note
Skiing is a fun sport, but it also comes with certain risks. Please abide by safety regulations at the ski resort:
※Be sure to confirm your equipment and check your skiing skills before riding the cable car. Please make sure you can stand, walk and control your speed and brakes on your own to avoid a collision. Responsibility for accidents in the ski resort will be borne by the parties themselves.
※If you are a beginner, it is recommended to take a ski school instruction course first to ensure safe skiing.

The tickets are divided into Shinkansen tickets and ski resort exchange tickets.
・Shinkansen ticket: It will be sent to your designated hotel 3 to 7 days in advance. Please go to the hotel front desk to collect it.
・Ski resort redemption coupon: It will be sent to your registered email address 3 to 7 days in advance. Please read the content carefully and follow the usage process to use the coupon.

Ski combo or snowboard combo:
▶Snowboard (SKI) combination: skis, poles, boots
▶Snowboard (SNOWBOARD) combination: snowboard, boots
＊There may be different charging standards depending on the actual size, please understand.
＊Basically, you do not need to make a reservation to rent ski equipment. However, if the size you require is not available on site, you will need to wait on site.

Suitable size for children
▶Snowboard: 90cm～125cm
▶Skis and snowboards: 70cm～150cm
