Absolutely amazing hotel the only thing to comment on was the mold in the shower which isn't really acceptable in a hotel like this. Apart from that absolutely great place!

Room was immaculate and so comfortable. Bathroom and shower was clean and hot water was HOT! I was travelling with my Mother and the staff made 2 single beds for us rather than one King size and this was so appreciated. Food at the Cheeky Dog was wonderful as was the service from any staff we encountered. We will absolutely tell anyone who will listen about Bannisters and stay again for longer!

Comfortable stay at Bannisters, staff exceptionally helpful, very friendly. Amenities good though the split level nature of the building can be confusing at first. Breakfast was very good but a meal in the ‘pub’ was distinctly average. Would happily stay here again.

Magnificent views… absolutely spectacular. Bed was a bit hard and springy and we stayed in the Penthouse with a pretty hefty price tag for a single night, so kind of expected lux comfort. Also, we had mentioned it was an anniversary stay, but we had a family room next door which kinda killed the vibe a bit when the toddler was hovering on the deck at 6ish in the morning. Assumed, for the price tag, there would be a mini bar… there wasn’t. Only long life milk, tea, coffee and biscuits. Staff were impeccable for service so 5 stars there! A lovely mini break but it could have been better for the price we paid, in comparison with metro rates and a inclusions.

The property is excellent with great staff. Our room was very large and well maintained. The car park is a bit chaotic for parking especially with the charging stations blocked by ICE cars who when asked politely by the staff to move to allow a EV vehicle to charge some guests refused to move so to allow for me to charge my car.
