It was a place to rest our heads.
Quite outdated, and needed a top to bottom clean.
Otherwise, comfortable place to spend our between activity times. Very good location. 10 minute walk to the lakefront restaurants. 5-10 minuwalk to close by supermarket and The Warehouse. Chemist Warehouse across the road.

Great value for the price, clean, quiet walking distance to lake, shops abc restaurants. Parking outside room. Just need new pillows for sleeping. Would stay again if ever in Taupō

We stayed at the Chevron Motel and really liked it. The location is excellent – right near town and very convenient. There is free parking and also a spa. The rooms are decent-sized, a bit old but well maintained and very clean. We appreciated the cooking facilities in the room. The beds are a little dated but comfortable enough. There’s also an on-site laundry ($10 for wash, dry and powder). Margaret at reception was very welcoming and accommodating. Overall, a clean, convenient, and good-value stay. We’d recommend it!
