Initially, I was a bit put off when we drove to the hotel. The road leads to the hotel is quite narrow and it's not at the artery road of Ubud. Only understood the reason after arriving, the hotel location needs to be secluded since it's surrounded by rice field. It's quite a new hotel though, probably around 3 years old. It's a relaxing hotel that has everything we need. Ala Carte breakfast was superb with a feeling of fine dining. It was delicious and served promptly. There's kids room which my kids begging to visit from the first time we arrived at the hotel. Room was very clean and spacious. Staff also reacted swiftly when our basin was clogged. Bathroom was equipped with rain shower. High quality toiletries. Hot water took quite a bit of time to come out despite fully switched the water tap to hot. In summary, it was a very pleasant stay at The Garcia Ubud. We'll definitely come back if we visit Ubud in future.
