Once in Pattaya, you cannot absolutely miss this tour, as this is one of the highlights of the Pattaya area: the Grand Coral Islands. All the water activities like jet skiing, banana boating, parasailing, and underwater sea walking are brilliant in their own way, and one needs to experience them. The tour was very well organized, as usual, by Klook.com. Early in the morning, they picked us up from the hotel, and from that moment until the end of the tour, it was thoroughly coordinated, including a good lunch. The guide was with us throughout, guiding us on how to Proceed step by step . This is highly recommended.

As a Taiwanese person, this trip is actually quite similar to going to Xiaoliuqiu, but the tour guide was great! We initially only purchased parasailing, but later they take you to a place to snorkel and a small water park. If you don't buy it, there's nothing to do there, so we still added it on for 300 Thai Baht per person. Finally, there were beach chairs and umbrellas on the island, so we didn't add on the banana boat or jet ski because they're almost the same as in Kenting... If you often go to beaches in Taiwan, I also recommend not adding on banana boats or other facilities. Just walk around the beach on the island, and there are also cafes where you can sit. Half a day is more than enough.

The pick-up was on time, the boat was clean and safe, the guides were professional and responsible, the lunch was abundant, and they helped us take many great photos. Even though the photos couldn't be provided on-site, we received a cloud album full of photos that same day (I thought they were just saying that). Excellent!

Buying activities on Klook is much more cost-effective. If you add activities on the spot, parasailing is 800, and sea walking is 1600. Although the water is a bit murky, the sea walking includes toast that attracts fish, so you can enjoy being surrounded by them, which is a lot of fun. However, the breathing mask is heavy, and your ears will hurt when you descend. You must know how to hold your breath and force air to clear your Eustachian tubes (the staff will teach you). I also bought the sea walking experience for my 8-year-old child, but she couldn't adjust the pressure in her ears, and she was nervous, so she gave up after only a few seconds, which was a real shame. If you're going to buy this experience for your child, be sure to consider whether it's suitable for them, otherwise it'll be a waste of money.
