Mutianyu Great Wall tours

Flower is a very patient and good tour guide n give very detail explanation of both East n West Side of Mutianyu. Spend abt 1hr 15min on East Side fr Tower 6 to 4 and back to Tower 6 (including chairlift up, queue were less at ard 9.30am weekday n toboggan down), 2hr 30min on the West Side up n down fr Tower 14 to 20 back to Tower 14 (each way abt 53min including alot of photos taking), cable car oni 3-4min max. And back to restaurant for 30min lunch just in time b4 depart at 2pm+.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience on our group tour to the Great Wall and the Summer Palace. Everything was very well organized, and the entire day felt smooth and enjoyable. Our guide, Richard, was excellent. He shared so many fascinating details about Chinese history, culture, and the significance of the places we visited. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the tour even more special and engaging. He was also very friendly, patient, and happy to answer all our questions. Our time on the Great Wall was truly unforgettable – walking along such an iconic and historic place was an incredible experience. The Summer Palace was equally beautiful and impressive, with its stunning architecture and peaceful atmosphere. We truly enjoyed every moment of this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Beijing. We can’t wait to come back and do another tour in the future!

It was a full day tour visiting Great Wall and different places. Visited the lesser crowd of Great Wall and have extra time to explore. Jessie, our guide knows how to communicate very well both in Chinese & English. and help us everything needed. also has clear guidelines on the trip. also knowledgeable on the notable places we have visited. it was a fun-filled & informative trip!

driver contacts me day prior to confirm trip. prompt pickup. car is comfy n clean. driver is friendly n updates us on journey as well as intro us more places to visit. Abt 1.5h ride to mutianyu - still crowded, but definitely lesser than badaling. then another 40min ride to water great wall (huanghuacheng) built nx to a dam - Park is desserted (<10 people - wonderful for photos). Can revisit HHC in the summer when the boat rides n high elements (flying fox etc) are open ;)

Jessica took great care of us. The trip was very comfortable. Get off at Dongzhimen Subway Station, Exit B1, and there will be people in red Mu bus vests waiting. There's also a food court and mini-mart there where you can buy snacks and food in the building. Grab some breakfast to eat on the go. For the return trip, Jessica will meet us around 3 PM at the Mu bus Family Lounge in front of the entrance to take us back to the bus, and she'll drop us off at the same spot as this morning. The travel is very easy and comfortable. You can purchase buffet tickets, cable car tickets, and other items on the bus.

The tour was excellent in every respect, a 10/10. The guide was impeccable. Selina was professional and knowledgeable about the history of the monuments. Selina took care of every detail of the tour. We made the most of it, which was perfect for us. The tour program was fantastic, even excellent. Lunch was very tasty with a wide selection of dishes and a sweet dessert. In the morning we visited the Forbidden City and in the afternoon we visited the Great Wall, watching the sunset from the Wall, which gave us the opportunity to take photos in the beautiful evening light. I highly recommend this tour.

Mutianyu Great Wall day trip was absolutely perfect, all thanks to our amazing guide Cindy! We met at Dongsi Subway Station Exit B as planned which is very convenient next to McDonald. The journey to the wall was smooth and enjoyable with Cindy sharing fascinating stories about the Great Wall’s history. The weather couldn’t have been better—sunny skies and crisp air made the views of the 5,400-meter-long wall even more breathtaking. Best of all, there were barely any crowds, letting us fully soak in the serenity of the ancient watchtowers and rolling mountain vistas without distractions. Cindy was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, pointing out unique spots like E4 tower -the lowest point Zheng Guan Tai and giving great tips for photos. She never rushed us, making the experience relaxed and memorable. If you’re looking for a stress-free, crowd-free Great Wall tour, I highly recommend Cindy—she turned a wonderful attraction into an unforgettable adventure!Excellent Day!
