Pura Ulun Danu Batur tours

From departing early in the morning to catch the sunrise, wake up coffee at an unreal place and a surreal experience at the rice terrace was an absolutely pleasant and joyful tour with Dek Ari! I was a little bit late for the departure time but Dek showed such a calmness and paitence with smile on his face which made the start of my tour much more comfortable and relaxed. He is very nice and gentle and his drives soft with confidence. Communication was no problem and most importantly, he made sure to let me take my time and fully enjoy every single part of the tour! There was no rush! 1000% recommended going on tours with him. You will have such a great time and great time with him! Thanks Dek and you have a good day with him already!

My friends and I always choose tours with transfers, especially when it’s our first time visiting a country. Our transfer driver, Dewata, was punctual and incredibly patient. He even took us on a side trip to Teba Sari Bar and Restaurant, where we had lunch, and he kindly waited for us the entire time. Our jeep drivers, Armada and Agus, were not only excellent drivers but also very skilled at taking photos. They truly made our Mount Batur trip memorable, even though the weather was cloudy and a bit rainy. While we didn’t get to see the perfect sunrise, the view at the top was still absolutely surreal. Afterward, the jeep drivers took us to a beautiful temple—I can’t remember the exact name, but the sign in front read “Pura Segara Ulun Danu Batur.” They were very accommodating and even apologized for the weather (which, of course, was beyond their control) because they were concerned we might be disappointed about missing the full sunrise. Overall, this trip was totally worth it. All three drivers were extremely hospitable, caring, and genuinely attentive, which made the entire experience even more special.

What a memorable journey! The visit at the temple, the witnessing of the sunrise and the first taste of Balinese coffee made my 1st day in Bali one for the books. Tour guides - Pande and Doso are so professional and really made sure I was comfortable the entire time. They shared information about their culture and traditions, what a bonus! And they were good in capturing pictures to treasure. Highly recommeding them for your Bali trips!

This was my first trip to Bali, and since I wanted to explore as many places as possible, I chose a private tour — and it turned out to be perfect. It was a special mother-daughter trip, and since we’re not into water activities, we skipped those but visited just about everything else! Arguna was incredibly kind and professional — he guided us with care, helped take photos, and patiently waited while my mom enjoyed souvenir shopping. Thanks to him, our entire trip felt relaxed and effortless. Honestly, driving in Bali looks impossible unless you're a local — and Arguna is absolutely the best driver! From early morning until late at night, all we had to do was enjoy the sights in comfort. If we visit Bali again, I’ll definitely contact Arguna. We had such a wonderful time and left Bali with happy memories. For first-timers, I highly recommend the 3-day private tour + Nusa Penida (especially if you love water activities)!

Had great experience right front the start. we started around 2:45 am in the morning! Had good conversation with Mr. Abdi who had taken us to Klook base camp and from there we met Mr. Ngurah who was driving the 4x4 jeep and taken us to Mount Batur. He was professional and very communicative. He was very patient enough taking our pics al over the trip. Only one thing which was disappointing is was not able to see sun rise due to rains and bad weather. Apart from it the whole team did a great job. Kudos to everyone.

The ride was made even more fun with trendy pop music playing throughout, creating a lively and relaxed atmosphere. Ngurah also went above and beyond by helping us take professional-quality photos, capturing truly stunning shots that we will cherish. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for both a skilled driver and an excellent guide. In addition, Wijaya was extremely punctual with all our pick-ups, ensuring seamless and stress-free transfers to and from our hotel. His reliability and time management made our entire trip well-coordinated and hassle-free.

Many thanks to our drivers! Bawe and Bona! The driver picked us up from the hotel on time, drove us in comfort and handed us over to the jeep driver/photographer Bawe. The photos turned out great! It's important to understand that you don't go up the volcano to the top. We expected that we would at least drive somewhere in jeeps and then walk to the top. The sunrise is beautiful, the photos too, but it's more like just a beautiful sunrise meeting with a photographer. As for the hot springs, they take you to the mini springs at The Janu. It seemed to us that it was just heated water there, but they write that it doesn't smell, so who knows, maybe not. And then to a cafe with a stunning view of Batur! A very beautiful view. Then, according to the program, there should be coffee plantations, but we asked to be taken home. Many thanks to the driver Bona for the flexibility.

💛Guide: Tour with Astika Bali Guide. We promised to meet in front of the hotel lobby at 2:00 PM, but I was 10 minutes late. I was so sorry, but Astika arrived early and waited for me. I was grateful that he told me it was okay first. I had a lot of luggage because I was going from Seminyak to Ubud after the jeep tour, but I was happy to start the tour with his kindness in loading my luggage into the car and escorting me to the door! He drove safely and comfortably, so I didn't get carsick at all (my mom always gets carsick when she travels by car in Bali, but surprisingly, she didn't get carsick while Astika was driving haha). He is a smart person who can speak English, Korean, and Chinese. When I told him that I was only wearing a windbreaker and it would be too cold to go up Mount Batur, he guided me to a place where I could rent a blanket. (I was going to rent 3 blankets, but he suggested that I only rent 2, which saved me money on my trip. ☺️ It's really cold when you go up the mountain, so be sure to bring a blanket!) Only 3 tourists can ride in the jeep tour, so the professional photographer and my family switched cars at the midway point, but the jeep driver (who only speaks English) explained everything well, so we had no problems with the jeep tour. And my driver was so kind to guide me to a spot with a good view at AKASA Cafe!!! I hope other travelers meet him and have a pleasant tour. He only spoke English, but he spoke a little Korean and played Korean songs, which was fun! He also told me poses and timings for taking good pictures, and Hengky took a lot of pictures from various angles before I even asked him to. Thanks to you, I got a great shot of my life haha.
