I had an amazing experience with Belinda and her mum. They were so kind. patient and very helpful and they made the whole experience super enjoyable. What i loved most was that we did it at their backyard and the dye that we used were all natural and homemade, thus it is environmentally friendly. I had a very zen and relaxing experience. i definitely would recommend this activity if you are planning to explore batik making the natural way. I suggest you do till the end of the process till you remove the wax so that you get to take home your masterpiece and frame it. Thank you

We had such a wonderful time at Abhati Studio! The batik painting session was both fun and relaxing, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality from the team. It was also fascinating to learn about the use of natural products in batik painting. A meaningful and educational touch that made the experience even more special. Highly recommended!

Fantastic workshop by Pak Padriman & interpreter Gaudiya! Various gamelan elements are explained in great detail and Pak gently guides you through playing the different pieces of music. The location is also gorgeous (view of the rice fields) and is used for cultural education for children as well. During my session, some local children joined in to play a 15-piece gamelan score together. Some musical knowledge or experience is convenient, but not required. I highly recommend checking out this workshop!

Good itinerary from the tour provider however the guide Afif was sick that day without notifying us. Luckily driver is ready and compensation was smooth. could be better if there is any change in tour guide, needs to be notified earlier.

Exploring Yogyakarta without transportation can be quite inconvenient, and relying on Gojek for rides can become expensive. I found this deal on Klook, which offered a reasonable price. The rental company delivered the vehicle to the specified hotel as agreed, with a full tank of gas. However, the phone number provided by the Yogyakarta rental company was missing a digit, making it impossible to contact them after booking online. I tried contacting Klook online, but there was a long queue. Fortunately, the rental company in Yogyakarta proactively contacted me via WhatsApp and delivered the vehicle to the hotel the next day. The rental included two helmets (though those who prefer extra cleanliness might want to bring their own helmet liners), a very sturdy phone mount, and a plastic raincoat. The vehicle was the ABS version and featured an automatic engine shut-off when the side stand is down and keyless ignition. If you don't mind the exterior (likely worn from frequent rentals), I highly recommend renting this scooter. It allowed me to easily visit places like Prambanan Temple, Borobudur Temple, and Malioboro Street in the city center. Gas stations are as common as they are in Taiwan, and the Max92 fuel price is cheaper than in Taiwan. It was an unforgettable 2-day experience, definitely worth recommending.

We enjoyed the this trip so much. And hands down to Kuya Brian for taking good care of us during the whole duration of the tour. We highly recommend him as tour guide as he was so patient, recommended goods spots to eat and he was soo nice over all. 'Til next time, Kuya Brian and see you again, Jogja 🫶🏻

It was a truly refreshing experience. My Singaporean and American friends who joined me also raved about how great it was. The guide was punctual, and the airport pick-up and drop-off after the tour were perfect! Klook is the best :-)

The Jomblang Cave was so impressive with its fantastic sunlight that I couldn't stop marveling at it. At first, the helmet smelled unpleasant, but I was also sweating a lot walking through the mud, so I would have felt bad if I didn't have a shower cap. The path was more slippery than I thought, and I even got stuck in the mud, but it was an unforgettable sight. The Pindul Cave was also fun with its stalactites, crystals growing together, and even small bats to see. However, the Oyo River wasn't very clean because it was the dry season, and the guide had a hard time pulling us along because the water wasn't flowing. The scenery was nice, but I often saw trash, which made me want to get out of the water quickly. Still, I would like to come again if I visit Yogyakarta again.
