I would like to praise the female receptionist standing at the door today for her great service. I will come back to dine again when I have free time. It's a semi-buffet; the soup, salad, and cheese were delicious, and the main course was quite good too. I enjoyed a peaceful lunch while watching YouTube. The tableware was clean and neat, and the air conditioning wasn't too cold.

Honestly, I don't quite understand why I had to buy three ice cream vouchers to order tickets for Andy Hui's concert. Andy Hui isn't an endorser for this ice cream brand, and I also don't believe I'll be allowed to eat ice cream inside the Hong Kong Coliseum. But I do like this brand of ice cream, so it's no big deal. I'm sure I'll be able to use all the ice cream vouchers, and the method for redeeming them seems very easy.

I finally tried it, but the lunch section only had about 10 types of bread. In the morning, there were around 20. The lobster egg salad, mentaiko baguette, and beef curry bun were quite good. The other options were pretty ordinary. Bacha pour-over coffee is free-flow, and other drinks are also unlimited. We stayed for a full 3 and a half hours; with the ambiance and service, it was quite decent.

I've been to Tsui Yuen at New Town Plaza in Sha Tin twice recently for dim sum. The dim sum is usually quite good, so I bought a coupon when I saw a Klook offer. I arrived around 10:30 AM on June 6th, and the staff were very nice. Even though I was early, they quickly seated me. However, the dim sum that day was very disappointing. The fried items weren't hot enough; they seemed like they had been sitting for a while. The skin was dry and soft, not crispy. The har gow (shrimp dumplings) and siu mai (pork dumplings) were even worse. They tasted like frozen, pre-made dim sum bought from a supermarket. The siu mai also had a very strong MSG flavor. I wondered if the dim sum for Klook customers was pre-made. I asked a server, who said the kitchen doesn't differentiate between Klook customers and regular diners. But it was very strange; the dim sum that day didn't taste like what I usually have there. Despite this, the restaurant staff were very polite.

Klook VIP: Use a $200 voucher with a $40 discount, paying $165 to get a $250 voucher. We went to the Causeway Bay branch to eat, and it was super crowded! We ordered Set A for two people: two bowls of 'Sai Yung' noodles, dumplings, blanched vegetables, and fried wontons, plus a Coke. The total was $255, so we only saved $5. 😌 I highly recommend the 'Sai Yung' noodles with fried wontons; the noodles are perfectly springy. It's the best in Hong Kong! 🤤 It's worth the price. 😃

In summary: The Astor demonstrates exceptionally high standards in terms of ambiance, service, and food, offering excellent value for money. It's a buy-one-get-one-free deal, and for the price of this lunch, there's an unexpectedly large amount of food, so it's no wonder the place was packed. The desserts, in particular, were very thoughtfully prepared and unique, including mango Napoleon, durian pancakes, crème brûlée mochi puffs, taro egg waffles, several kinds of soft cookies, and various Movenpick ice cream flavors. They were truly impressive and delicious. The seafood, such as oysters, shrimp, and clams, was standard, and surprisingly, there were even lobster claws. The salad was good. The hot dishes and Chinese options were average and could be improved. The Japanese sashimi wasn't cut to order; it was pre-cut and available for self-service, and the quality was just okay. Sushi, cold noodles, and similar items weren't particularly exciting. The service was normal. Overall, this meal offered excellent value for money, and I would definitely come again.
