Tour guide who can speak Japanese and Chinese: Xiao Liu is kind and great! We meet at 7:10 in the morning, and the round-trip drive takes four hours. I had 3 hours to explore on my own, taking in views of Nachi Falls, the highest waterfall in Japan, as well as shrines and temples, stopping at Lion Rock for photos, and walking a bit along the rugged Coastal Kumano Kodo Walking Trail, in After walking a short distance, we turned back because the parking lot was located in a ghost town. The weather is great, but it’s a pity that the triple tower is under maintenance…

Although the 3 storied pagoda is under renovation, the Nachi fall is still perfect. The trail is so tiring. So if you’re not into 4hr-bus-drive (one way) plus 40min trail, this is not for you

It was already 11 o'clock when we set off at 7 o'clock in the morning and arrived at Daimonzaka. The round-trip drive will take about four hours, so be mentally prepared. The ancient trails are great, the waterfalls are great, and the weather is great. Unfortunately, the triple-story pagoda is under maintenance...

When I went there on October 29, it was raining heavily. The folding umbrellas sold at the counter were very expensive and the raincoats were too small. Umbrellas and souvenirs were sold at the first rest point after going up the mountain. There was a Hitaki Shrine⛩️ at the meeting point on the way back. It is recommended to finish the hike. Hurry down to the meeting point. It’s better to take pictures of the waterfall at Hitaki Shrine. I go down to the meeting point. The time has come. I looked at Google Images and found out that the waterfall is better to take pictures here.

You can see different scenery and buildings during the trip. The ride arrangement is comfortable. The tour guide's reservation time is accurate. This itinerary is worth recommending.

Easy to find the meet up point and tour started on time at 7.10am. A mini bus took 14 paxs on the trip with one guide that could speak japanese and chinese. He could speak english too but since most of the guest understood chinese, that was the language used. It was a 4 hour bus ride to the destination and there was only 1 toilet break in between for 15 mins. Upon arrival at the location, we were given 3 hours to explore on our own. Not much information was given about where to find food but there was a map on the recommended sights to see on the journey to Nachi falls. Recommend stopping for tea and mochi at the foot of the temple before attempting the steep stairs. There will be sufficient time to have lunch after exploring Nachi Falls at the restaurant opposite the bus pickup point.

The tour guide is very good and takes care of the elderly throughout the whole process👍🏼The scenery is elegant and full of spiritual energy, the waterfall is very surging, although the weather is very hot, it is still worth coming
