Tour started on time, and although our guide struggled a bit with her English, she made the tour very unique and fun. For the price, it was already very worth it. You get to see a lot and learn a lot, just be ready with a jug of water and comfortable shoes! ❤️💯

This extraordinary tour with Charlie was a highlight of my journey. From the moment he picked me up at the train station until he graciously dropped me off at the airport, every detail was meticulously taken care of. The personal attention I received was unparalleled. Throughout the day, we explored numerous remarkable sites, and Charlie expertly customized the itinerary to align perfectly with my interests. He also captured wonderful photos of me, adding a special touch to an already memorable experience.

Our Chinese/ English tour guide was Stella and she was excellent! She communicated with us via Whatsapp the day before to confirm the meetup time and location. She sent me a pic of the exact meet up and responded to our questions before the tour. During the tour, she was efficient and an excellent driver too! She gave us facts about the Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum and helped us take pictures. She even knew what poses were most flattering and helped us take pics of my family as well as of the amazing scenery. We toured the Sugar Factory and fed some Koi at a pond and ate local milk ice popsicles (delicious). The last stop at the Dragon Tiger Tower, which was spectacular. Stella let us know the correct path to walk for maximum good fortune. At the end, because only 2 of us needed to be dropped off at the Formosa MRT, Stella was kind enough to drop us off at our hotel doorstep (close to MRT). Thank you, Stella!

Our guide Charlie was AMAZING! He contacted us through WhatsApp prior to the trip and was able to arrange to pick us up from Dongang ferry, outside of the pickup zone! He took us all around Kaohsiung and took pictures of us the entire time. It was like having our own photographer! He was so knowledgeable and taught us about history and culture. My favorite place was pier 2! Such a cool place. Highly Highly Highly recommend! Charlie was fantastic!

We had a wonderful time on the Kaohsiung Free Walking Tour – Harbor City Tour! Our guide, Cindy, was fantastic — she communicated clearly, shared insightful historical and cultural facts, and kept the tour engaging from start to finish. One of the highlights was ending the tour with a delicious bowl of shave ice, which we enjoyed together with the group. It was a fun and relaxed way to connect with fellow travelers and locals. This tour is a great way to explore Kaohsiung beyond the usual tourist spots. Highly recommended, especially with a guide as warm and knowledgeable as Cindy. Thank you for a memorable afternoon!

Alishan was a beautiful experience and have a lot to offer. However, this is not that recommended for seniors since there are many steps needed. The way going to and from Alishan is approx 3 hrs. It’s also hard to sleep since you will cross many zigzag roads.

The Bitou Cape Trail offers an incredibly scenic hike with stunning coastal views, and its cliffside paths feel both dramatic and romantic. At Bitou Fishing Harbor, you can relax and grab a bite, but a short drive to the colorful Zhengbin Fishing Harbor offers a beautiful backdrop for photos, especially with its iconic painted houses. You'll find a different kind of coastal beauty at Heping Island Park, with its unique rock formations and tranquil atmosphere perfect for a leisurely stroll together. Finally, wrap up your day at the lively Keelung Miaokou Night Market for a delicious feast of fresh seafood and local delicacies, a perfect way to experience Taiwan's food scene. This combination of trails, charming harbors, and a bustling night market makes for a truly memorable trip for two.
