I almost missed my tour in Tainan because I missed the train, but luckily I was able to join. However, it was you, our guide, who turned those worries into anticipation. Even in the pouring rain, you passionately explained Taiwan's history and culture without a moment's fatigue. What was most touching was how you tried so hard to capture even one more memory for us, regardless of your own clothes getting soaked. Seeing your back as you pressed the shutter in the rain, saying, “All that remains are photos,” truly moved me, as I felt your genuine dedication to us. I'll never forget the warm encouragement you offered to the participants who were getting a little tired from the rain. Especially when you spoke about the “preciousness of the connections we made here,” I felt a deep sincerity, person-to-person, beyond just a guide-and-tourist relationship. Thanks to your positive energy, rainy Taiwan was remembered not as an 'unfortunate day,' but as a 'charming and special day of memories.' It felt like I received a warm story, not just a simple tour. Meeting such a passionate and warm guide was the best fortune of this trip. You get extra stickers compared to buying on-site, but you need to enter the park first (show your voucher at the manual gate to prove you're a visitor for the day), then go to the redemption counter in the building on the left front to exchange it.

The weather was tough with rain and strong winds all day, but the tour was fulfilling and fun. It was cost-effective, and each tour location, except for Jiufen, had about 30 to 40 minutes of free time. Jiufen had over an hour of free time, so I had plenty of time to look around, but it was too crowded to get to the photo spots. I recommend taking a tour on your first day in Taiwan.
