Taking a boat from Chiayi to Penghu is a great option because it's the closest route to Penghu, with the shortest journey time (about 80 minutes). Booking through Klook is convenient, and the boat ride is fun, comfortable, and clean, with minimal seasickness. It's a fantastic mode of transportation, and I love it! Ordering online is convenient and cheap~ But it's a 20-minute walk from Penghu Chen Hotel to the 996 Hetian store... We had a great experience with our guide, Mr. Hsu, who provided professional commentary throughout the tour, sharing local information about Penghu and expertly guiding us to capture beautiful memorable photos. His lively and engaging explanations of Erkan Village, including the folksongs and various allegorical sayings on the walls, were particularly enjoyable. We would definitely try other routes in the future. Regarding the booking process through Klook, we understand the need to exchange for physical tickets upon arrival in Penghu. However, having to register on the Penghu Tour platform before being able to reserve seats online felt cumbersome. We hope this aspect can be improved.
