Cu Chi Tunnel

Another cultural immersion to do in Saigon. Sarah was an excellent teacher, explaining how to make coffee and its history. The friends you make during the class are also a very nice experience. The coffee was great. We made Egg coffee salted coffee, coconut coffee and Cafe Sua, the class offers great value for the money you pay. It's a nice thing to do if you don't know what to do in Saigon.

truly a fun and interesting experience learning more about Vietnam's coffee culture and how they brew their coffee! the group size was just right (7 people) and our instructor gave clear instructions and guided us through the whole process well. highly recommend !!

I really enjoy participating in workshops when I come to Vietnam. It's a great way to learn more about Vietnamese food and how to make it. Making egg coffee with instructor Tom was easy, and the steps were clear. It's helpful to memorize the steps a little, as the numbers in the recipe PDF provided after the class are slightly different. The history of egg coffee was also explained clearly, making it a very insightful and relaxed activity. The whole thing takes about an hour, and you even get a certificate at the end – I know students really appreciate that. There are also promotional coffee bean sets available for students to buy, and you get a coffee discount coupon. I recommend ordering a different coffee after the workshop. I give this experience a very high rating.

We had a lovely morning perfume-making session at NOTE. Although the workshop was a bit far from where we were staying, it was well worth the trip. Our facilitator, Cam, was very hands-on and guided us every step of the way. She made the basics easy to understand and was incredibly encouraging throughout the process. She also shared her expertise on which scents to blend to achieve our desired fragrance.
After the session, we enjoyed exploring and smelling the full range of scents they have in-store. Plus, as workshop participants, we received a discount on our purchases! Overall, this is a perfect experience if you’re looking for a relaxing and intentional activity while you're in hcmc!

At the coffee workshop, Joey, a Vietnamese coffee enthusiast, gave us a detailed explanation of the varieties, processing techniques, traditions, and culture of Vietnamese coffee. She even guided us in making several Vietnamese coffees ourselves. The French brought coffee beans to Vietnam, and due to its unique geographical and climatic conditions, Vietnam is particularly suitable for growing Robusta coffee beans. Coffee culture is deeply ingrained in Vietnamese life. From selecting and drying the beans to brewing, I blended several coffees with two handsome Argentinian guys. [laughing][laughing][laughing]

The location was easy to find. the staff were kind and helpful. I am grateful for all the tools they provided me with. they even helped fix some of my mistakes. The craft can take a while so be sure to allot enough time to finish this. This is a beautiful gallery and art form.
