Things to do in Taipei

Must try experience when you visit Taiwan! We also love our tour guide, Kate H. Lots of trivias about the places included in the tour. It definitely made our trip more interesting and meaningful. I personally love the Yehliu Geopark. Amazing rock formations!

It's super cool to see the dinosaurs move, and the various dinosaur shapes are lifelike, just like in Jurassic Park. You can feed the dinosaurs, ride them, and there's also a souvenir shop. It's worth a whole day of fun for kids, but it's very crowded on holidays. Even with online tickets, you still have to queue up to get a number and wait for more than 2 hours to enter.

Easy to purchase, select time slot and redeem. Just show the QR code at the entrance. Saved time by skipped the queue to purchase on the spot. Beautiful decorations and view at the 89th observatory, there're many places to take photos. There's also 1 café, 1 Milksha bubble tea shop, 1 toys shop and 1 souvenirs shop at 89th floor. Bought a cup of coffee and stayed there for close to 2hrs.

we upgraded to crystal I think where you can also see below and regular one going back. it was sooo fun and heartwarming experience. a must if you visit Taiwan. pls also try the food once you stop by the last station bc its too good especially the grilled bbqs and green tea ice cream! + cute fluffy cats u randomly pass by. still dreaming of this trip.

We used the Korean audio guide at the National Palace Museum, and I think other languages would be the same way, entering numbers... but there were many things without numbers, and the famous Dongpo pork wasn't there. The cabbage was on display, but there was no number written on it, but my daughter accidentally pressed 333 and the explanation came on, haha. If you just walk by without an explanation, you wouldn't know what it is, so we used the audio guide, but it wasn't very helpful and it was hard to concentrate. It would be more convenient and faster to look at it with a translator.

Facilities: Enormous size. Be prepared if you're going to see everything. Price: I think it's very cheap. It is connected to the gondola, so don't go to the zoo entrance, but take the gondola from the gondola zoo station and get off at the next stop, either the zoo's north or south station. If you get off there, it's a good starting point because it's a high altitude based on the zoo. If you start from the zoo entrance, you'll get tired quickly because it's constantly uphill.

Fun day here at Taipei Amusement Park! Redeeming is easy, you just need to go to the information center and scan your qr code to get the wrist ticket. The park is huge with multiple floors. They have indoor playgrounds, and so many rides. It also has a food court with different selections. Complete with washing areas for kids. Very enjoyable and affordable.
