Things to do in Dali

We have safely arrived in Shanghai. Thank you, Mr. Zhang, for your considerate company and care throughout our journey in Shangri-La. The trip was a complete success, thank you so much! Each time, you arrived at our destination early and prepared ample snacks and oxygen tanks. The scenery of Colorful Yunnan is beautiful, but even more unforgettable is our driver's enthusiasm and thoughtfulness, which made our trip especially warm. Our brief encounter was hard to say goodbye to. We wish Mr. Zhang safe travels, all the best, happiness to your family, and good health! We look forward to visiting Yunnan again next time and hope to meet you again. We will definitely come back to Yunnan!

The experience of this trip was very pleasant, and I will definitely come back. After all, Yunnan is such a beautiful place that it would be impossible to see everything in just one visit. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the tour. One of the main advantages of joining a guided tour is that everything is taken care of for you, so you don’t have to worry about anything. The itinerary includes all the major attractions, and the meals served on the tour bus are decent, with good flavors and plenty of food. The hotels are clean, comfortable, and relatively quiet, providing a good opportunity for rest throughout the trip. Breakfast is also excellent, and there is a different guide available at each location. Overall, I am very satisfied.

We did a day trip around Dali and had a really great time with our guide. He was friendly, easygoing, and very knowledgeable, which made the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable. He was also super punctual, accommodating, and always happy to help with anything we needed. What we really appreciated was how flexible he was. He even let us stop spontaneously for strawberry picking and a quick horse ride along the way. As long as we stayed on the same route and got back on time, he was totally fine with it. We felt well taken care of and would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting Dali!

The [Dali Erhai Lake & Shuanglong One-Day Boat Tour] was magnificent! I received clear communication via WeChat, so I knew what to expect on the day of the activities. I was picked up at my homestay which was super convenient. The itinerary followed through as expected, but we did go overtime, though I didn't feel rushed throughout the day — it was an efficient tour to experience Dali and Erhai. Although I struggled a lot as the only english speaker, everyone was really kind and patient so I had a really enjoyable time. The price value is absolutely worth it, in my opinion. All the stops were a dream, but that last stop was a magical sunset bicycle (optional) ride at Panxiyuan, perfect way to end the day!

Had a wonderful day trip to Dali Ancient City, Shaxi Ancient Town, and Erhai Lake. The guide William was super friendly, patient, and genuinely cared that we enjoyed the day. He was also very knowledgeable about all the places we visited. Really appreciated his enthusiasm and hospitality!

Don't even know where to start. Everyone was so AMAZING. i was lost and a staff member went to collect me, spoke in english with me to explain everything, remembered i have food restrictions.. first costume i tried on i didnt like so the girls helped me to try more until i absolutely liked it. my make up, my hair.. amazing. food, amazing. performance, amazing. everyone was so nice and kind to me, i have no words to express my gratitude. the place is beautiful for you to take pictures. honestly try this, i wish i was more time in Dali to do it again. to everyone my sincere and heartfelt thank you, was an experience i will never forget. 🤍
